The District GastroBar has an innovative design that starts in the restaurant's entrance, a well ­curated modern speak easy with a nostalgic vintage ambiance and an eclectic array of "one ­off" pieces of Prohibition and 1940 era inspired artwork.     AVA Mediterranean exceeded all our expectations! The atmosphere was incredible, with fantastic vibes, impeccable service, and music that set the perfect mood. We tried the mushroom risotto and the salmon, and both dishes were absolutely delightful, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to our servers, Gabriel and Berte, who provided top-notch service and made excellent food recommendations. They truly elevated our dining experience. To top it off, we were surprised with a thoughtful gesture to celebrate our anniversary, which made the evening even more memorable. AVA Mediterranean is a must visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. We can’t wait to return!

    We eat at Kres during the broadway show season at Doctor Phillips and they never disappoint. We shared a bucatini pasta in white parmesan sauce with spinach, bay scallops, and filet mignon. It was amazing. We also had the spinach salad with warm bacon dressing, beautiful tomatoes with fried onion crisps and a mild cheese crumbled on top. Service is always top notch. Drinks were great.
