Housed in what was once the church of a Catholic girls' boarding school, the restaurant maintains its historic charm, with the former altar now serving as a beautifully repurposed bar. The atmosphere is both grand and inviting, making it a truly special place to dine. The service was outstanding from start to finish—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was just as impressive. We both ordered the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection, tender, and full of flavor. To accompany it, we shared mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. Every dish was executed flawlessly, with rich flavors and perfect textures that made for an exceptional meal. Wye Oak Tavern delivers on every level—ambiance, service, and cuisine. I would absolutely go back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience.

This is a go to place for great food and atmosphere. Steak was amazing and the pasta was also delicious. Wait staff a tad overwhelmed as there were only 2 working for a rather full venue on an early Sunday evening. Beyond that it is always a wonderful experience. Cheers !

I chose this restaurant for my wife’s birthday. What an amazing experience. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious. Our server Billie was very attentive.

Brian, our waiter, was fantastic. Quick with drinks, entrees arrived with a reasonable amount of time and the dining experience was relaxing. Food was good as expected. Will return.

This was our third dinner and our second overnight accommodations. They never disappoint. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, the food is amazing, and the rooms are so cozy. My Wife and I have made this our spot, we’ve had dinner here for anniversaries, took advantage of their overnight accommodations for our wedding night, and most recently stayed in the Robert Mills suite for Valentine’s Day. I highly recommend the smokehouse, but if you want pure relaxation and ambience, book the overnight stay as well.
