Always enjoyed our visits to Goat and Vine. This visit was no exception. However, there is one concern I have. Both my wife and I had pasta. Their menu indicates if you buy any of the Pasta Dishes, you can get a Pasta Dish to take home. We have always enjoyed this promotion, but not the main reason to go there. When we got home, I took the Free Pasta to take home out of the bag, and Goat and Vine has gotten CHEAP on thier promotion. I had the Lasagna, and my wife had the spaghetti. The portion was about a 1/3 portion. In the past, they have given a full portion. So let the diner BEWARE, the Buy One Pasta Get one to take home Promotion is a JOKE. BEWARE if you go to Goat and Vine, and don't get sucked into their Promotion that they are skimping on. SHAME ON YOU Goat and Vine, not a good way to build a business.

Ramsey’s Kitchen in Naperville has a wonderful ambiance. The layout is especially great to be able to watch the food come out of the kitchen. Beef Wellington looked amazing in the window. All the staff was curious and helpful. Knowledgeable about the menu. We got the Crab Cake, The Filet, Scallops, Brussel sprouts, and Apple Blackberry Crumble. The crab was so fresh, Filet cooked and seasoned perfectly, Scallions had a nice subtle heat to them, we always love the crunchy brussel sprouts, and the Apple blackberry crumble was warm, sweet and perfect with the ice cream.

As always, the service was outstanding even though they were crazy busy. The manager was very gracious about accommodating a table request we had. My steak was a little overdone but they handled it right away. Food is expensive but really good. It was noisier than normal but that was expected given that it was Valentines Day !

The young man that waited and us did an excellent job! He was very warm and friendly, but not overpowering or allowed. He came back to our table repeatedly to see if we needed anything else, to give us help with the menu, to bring our food, etc. He sure got his steps in for the evening! He was extremely professional and very kind. The music in the background was lovely, not loud, not quiet, somewhere in between. The desserts were delicious! The amount of food we got was more than enough and led to many leftovers going home with us. It was a perfect overall experience!

We had an amazing time as always this year we celebrated our anniversary and we got the typical Saganaki, Greek sausages, dip trio with tzatziki hummus and hpitipi, lamp chops and chicken souvlaki. The Saganaki continues to be our favorite and they even gave us a little anniversary dessert! We had an awesome time!
