New Vida Preserve Restaurant is located in the re-imagined former Paleface Ski Mountain Lodge and now the largest resort in the Adirondacks at 2000 acres. You can dine in our Grand Dining Room, our Craft Bar area with live music or our more casual Billiards Lounge, all with stunning view and beautiful architecture. The restaurant is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm to 9pm. Come in early and enjoy a drink at our handmade craft bar, lined with skis from the Preserve’s former life as a ski resort or take a stroll after dinner around our romantic pond & dock. Reservations are preferred, but walk-ins are always welcome.

Last minute Valentines dinner while traveling- we were glad to get a reservation. The good was very good quality it was just a lot over the top with sauces. The shrimp and burrata appetizers were great, the soup and Caesar salad were great, both the filet and steak frites had way too much sauce but both pieces of meat were good and had a good flavor. The only thing that was bad was Valentines dessert which had a very strange flavor and we didn't eat. We had great service.

First time in Saranac Lake for Winter Carnival. Wonderful service from Sadie, who also crafted our after-dinner cocktails. My wife’s steak was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The beef/game burger was delicious! Nice selection of local beers plus wines and liquor.
