- GGinaCentral Kentucky •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 22, 2025My husband and I ate here for the first time for our Anniversary. It was AMAZING!! I made a reservation and requested that we be sat in more of a “private” area, just away from a lot of people. When we got there, they had us sat on the small stage area and it was perfect!! Just us and that’s all. Our waitress, Madison, was phenomenal and came to check on us at least every 10 minutes and kept us refilled on drinks/bread and kept our table cleared. For the appetizer, we got the Truffle Fries and they come with a side of ketchup and their in house made ranch dip, which was the best I’ve ever tasted. For dinner, I got the Berkshire Pork Chop with goat cheese mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini. Everything was so flavorful, the pork chop was extremely tender and the potatoes were a new taste for me and I believe that’s how I’ll start making them from now on. It was so delicious!! My husband got the Steelhead Trout that was served on a bed of zucchini, mushrooms, onions, and broccolini. He said it tasted the best and was very fresh and tender. For dessert we got the fried apple dumpling dish with vanilla ice cream and a caramel sugar candy on top!! We cleaned the dish! I would have licked the skillet if no one else would’ve been there. 😂 Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place for any occasion. The atmosphere is gorgeous, rustic and somewhat romantic when it’s dark outside. There is an overwhelming smell of fish when you walk in but that’s to be expected being that they serve seafood. You get used to it and don’t even smell it after a while. Definitely plan to eat here more and try different dishes!!More infoHoneysuckle Dining and Bourbon HousePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Berea•4.7
