Best roast in Manchester! Lovely setting and great service

Everything about this restaurant is exceptional. Every member of staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, from the second we arrived at the door until the second we left. We ordered the tasting menu and each dish was explained on delivery to the table. The food was unmistakably fresh, and perfectly cooked and presented. We each ordered a scallop as an extra and it was probably the best I have ever tasted. The ambience was very relaxed and added to a wonderful evening. This restaurant has got it just right. It is not inexpensive, but we both left having had a very positive and enjoyable evening with exceptional food and staff. I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you to all at Higher Ground.

Pre theatre meal with my daughter. Dim sum’s starters were a good size and tasted lovely. Main duck sizzler and roasted pork belly. My the pork portion size was huge we took half home for my husband to try he said it was the best pork belly he has ever tasted nice and crispy on top. The duck was perfect. Service excellent, staff very friendly and efficient. Will be returning with all the family .

Honestly the most amazing food i’ve ever had, the service was so speedy and welcoming!! the atmosphere was great and god don’t get me started on the focaccia, it was DIVINE!! This was the best restaurant i’ve been to in Manchester 100%
