- JJesseGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy Wife and I finally went to Ella’s to which I still don’t understand how we had not been there before now! We are frequent foodies and rarely visit the same place twice as to always try new places and menus. It’s something we’ve been doing since we started dating and our favorite thing to say is “we’re gonna Yelp it!”. That said we did finally make it to Ella’s in Westerly and WOW. Even more amazing was we were already going in with high expectations and even with those lofty thoughts were completely blown away. Before discussing the star of the show it is important to point out the wonderful ambiance inside. Very subtle and formal. The main dining area is quiet and sophisticated with fantastic lighting and comfort. The adjacent Bar/Pub area also has an incredible moody atmosphere that is cozy and warm. The Staff was professional and pleasant as well and our service was top notch. Our water glasses did not get below 1/3 full before someone was there to refresh them and was on top of our meal every step of the way. As if this review wasn’t gleaning enough….the food here was unbelievable. My wife and i literally spent the entire time we ate our dessert trying to think of anywhere we had been that had finer dining, truly better food. We could not. We started with an asian inspired beef tenderloin appetizer that was flawless in every way. Taste, creativity, and presentation. My wife enjoyed the Filet la Maison and I tested their Duck a Deux. Both were excellent in every way. All the food had such care and attention to detail that played out in every bite. We left Ella’s saying “That was the best Duck, Filet, Lovster Mac and Cheese, and Cheesecake Dessert we’d ever had”. Now 3 days removed from that meal I still feel that way. Absolutely outstanding.More infoElla's Food and DrinkPrice: Moderate• French / American• Westerly•4.9

I just had leftovers for lunch and it is again delicious. Thank you Jerry and crew.More infoLongo Ristorante & PizzeriaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Westerly•4.8

The mimosas flow constantly, the food is memorable and definitely enough with the multiple courses. Service was exceptional. We especially love the desert table and crepes station. I was smarter this year and went easy on the courses so I would have room for desert. We plan our visit while the Jazz band in playing in the lobby so the ambiance is pleasing but not too loud. Excellent opportunity to enjoy your family and friends while dining. Valet Parking for $5 well worth it. We will be back next year!More infoThe Bistro at Ocean HousePrice: Expensive• Bistro• Westerly•4.6
