- JJoanneVIPLos Angeles •345 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoExcellent wait service! It's always this way at Holdren's which is such a pleasure. The food was fantastic as was bar service. This was a Sunday about 5:30 pm so was very surprised with the loud drunks at the bar. We understand that this is not the restaurant's fault. But their jarring, drunken laughter and yelling at each other to be heard, filled the entire restaurant. We asked for our dessert to be packaged up and took it home. I see there's an outdoor patio with heaters as we walked out. Maybe will try that next time?More infoHoldren's Newbury ParkPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Thousand Oaks•4.8
- SSusanneVIPLos Angeles •7 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoWe came to Selvins as two couples with one person in our group having dined at Selvins previously. The ambiance was warm and inviting and each area was unique and interesting. We ordered cocktails which were all amazing and well enjoyed by each diner. We had the focaccia bread, roasted cauliflower, arancini, and ceviche as shared appetizers. The kale salad was next and each couple shared an entree, which was a good idea because all servings were very generous and easy to share across 4 diners. Our server, Mike was outstanding, had a great attitude, explained all our options and provided wonderful suggestions. His information about the specials convinced us to order the salmon and the burger - both excellent choices. By sharing we were able to share two desserts, carrot cake and the affogato with hazelnut gelato. Both were delicious choices. Would definitely return and want to try the bar next time as it is lively and beautiful.More infoSelvin'sPrice: Moderate• American• Thousand Oaks•4.6

- LLuisLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 13, 2025An early Valentines dinner for two on a Wednesday. We timed it right where it wasn't busy at all and we got a ton of attention from great servers and great waiters!! Good drinks and great food. From ambiance to experience, we had an unforgettable night. Whole experience with a few drinks took about 2.5 hours. But we were taking our time, enjoying our self and we did not feel rushed. Would recommend. Shoutout to our waitress, Devin and our Gaucho server Miguel!More infoFogo de Chao - Thousand Oaks, CAPrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Thousand Oaks•4.1
