Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients. Proper attire required. It was my wife birthday and she wanted the waiter to take a picture of us. The floor supervisor kept rushing the waiter off and it put a damper on the dinner. This was done twice

Our brunch on New Years Day was outstanding from start to finish. Loved the wonderful holiday decorations throughout the restaurant. The cheerful atmosphere was great. We highly recommend Bistro Niko and we’ll be back!

Great food, great service. This is a hidden gem in Brookhaven - kind of want to keep it a secret. We've been coming here for several years and have never had a bad experience. Food is very reasonably priced and service is excellent!

Though there are other more well known restaurants in Atlanta, Hal's is my favorite! The food is always excellent and the service is great! Even though I am only in Atlanta every couple of months, Kevin, my favorite waiter, remembers my drink order as well as my favorite foods. It's amazing! My husband usually has the sea bass but has also had a wonderful steak or two there. I haven't found any place that makes as good a chocolate martini! See you on my next trip to the big Apple!
