   This place is an old favorite from years past. The setting is wonderful, overlooking the beach, the food was ok (some in our party enjoyed it but the tacos were not good), service was very slow. Overall not even close to worth the price.

   We went for Thanksgiving dinner. $125 fixed menu. They were surprisingly not super busy so I couldn’t understand why the service was so slow. Our reservation was at 5:45 and we didn’t get out of there until almost 8:00pm. There was such a long gap between each of our courses. I definitely thought it would go faster for a fixed menu. Servers were very nice but would disappear for long periods of time. Drink refills were slow. For that much $$$ I expected service to be much better. Maybe it was just a long day for them. $125 for some turkey, a Caesar salad, an appetizer of corn on two tortillas chips and a scoop of ice cream at the end. Not the greatest value IMO. The food was good but not worth $125. The location and views are exceptional! Would like to try it again in the daylight.

   We were seated in the bar. The Spanish speaking music was playing so loud that we couldn’t even carry on a conversation most of the time, on thanksgiving!!!! Turkey dinner was lukewarm at best. Turkey was dry. Maybe a tablespoon of gravy for stuffing, mashed potatoes and turkey,, when asked for more gravy, it took 15 minutes and we only got one small dish half full to share, of course, the food was cold by then. Soup was served in front of me, then removed from me and served to the table next to me. I said it’s against health code to set food in front of someone and then come back and take the plate and serve it to someone else at a different table. I was ignored, but the people sitting next to me heard me and said I certainly hope you don’t have Covid. No one offered to refill my water so I asked the server, but I didn’t get any water so I asked the bus boy still nothing. Finally I asked the server again if he had any water handy. The server never did come back to ask me if I wanted wine with my meal. When paying $125 per person for a meal, you would expect better service and also complementary valet parking but when I asked to have my valet ticket validated, they laughed and said we don’t validate.

   We have enjoyed Las Brisas in the past & decided to try for thanksgiving prix fix menu. Disappointed that salad was soggy ( like made much earlier), main course was not very hot. For the price expected more.

   What a great Thanksgiving celebration in one of the best restaurants in Orange County !!! The food was absolutely delicious and service was great !!!

   We had a lovely time at Las Brisas! Our server Frank was very attentive and informative. Our food was excellent and very filling. Thank you for the wonderful time with our family!

   We dine at Las Brisas every time we visit the Laguna Beach area, which is every couple of years or so. It’s usually a great experience, but this one was a little off. The guacamole used to be awesome but they are now making it table side. We asked for it to be a little spicy like it has been in the past, but it came out rather bland. The entrees were good and the margaritas were excellent. That part hasn’t changed. It was a Monday and things were slow, so that may have contributed to the differences. We will still go back, though.

   The ceviche and roasted chicken were fabulous.My husband had the tortilla soup which was also tasty. Great views and beautiful ambiance.

    Loved the appetizer. My husband devoured the oysters and I had one of the best Caesar salad ever. We enjoyed Matt and all his recommendations were perfect.
