Holiday Tea. Fairmont is lovely. Laurel Court experience was a disgrace to the Fairmont name. For $200 per person, $1665 total, to have stale, dry, tasteless finger sandwiches, tiny biscuits, one champagne pour and a missing server for ONE HOUR before we received our bill, not worth even $30 per person. Read the previous reviews and hoped they had it wrong. They didn’t. Don’t waste your time or money.

Our family of 5 went to a Christmas lunch mid week. Be prepared for a limited lunch men. The Brussels sprout appetizer and cheeseburger was off the hook. Fries could have been warmer. The ambience is wonderful! Christmas Tree in front lobby was so large they had polar bear stuffed animals in it. Great time!

Poor service, over priced food and $90 to park. That says it all.

Four of us adults ordered steak or prime rib, which were average. We were disappointed because we ordered steak 2 years ago and it was delicious. We also ordered butter lettuce salad but got Romaine lettuce salad instead. Our 2 grandchildren ordered cheeseburger and chicken, which they enjoyed. They were disappointed that the restaurant ran out of chocolate chip cookies, which they ordered for dessert. The mango panna cotta which we adults ordered for dessert was the best part of the meal.

Holiday tea menu items left lots to be desired. Crab salad was fishy as was the “caviar” on top of the egg salad sandwich. All bread seemed a little stale. Just not enough food considering the price. Seemed like they weren’t prepared for the number of tables for service, we had to ask if there was a server for our table after almost 20 mins of waiting once seated. Just not worth the price.

Always love the experience of high tea at the Laurel Court. Love the piano music, there was an elf that visited our table, and the Santa chocolate favors were a lovely touch. Highly recommend for a fun family event or a day out with the ladies.

Beautiful Holiday Tea with ambiance . The tea was good but the sandwich’s & deserts were only fair & limited in quantity for a very large fee for Tea at the Fairmont. The life size Gingerbread House was impressive but that you can see for free. Glad I did it once but will be looking for another option for my family next year.

The Fairmont never disappoints. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The staff at the hotel were gracious and very caring. The food was very good snx presented very nicely. Only drawback was the tea water wasn’t hot enough.
