   My husband and I had the special veal osso buco that was tender, juicy and melted in our mouth. We also enjoyed a wonderful bottle of Bordeaux. A perfect evening at Lavendou!

   Food was excellent, atmosphere was great and our waiter Raphael was very knowledgeable. And - we were not rushed, even on a busy Saturday night.

   We had a lovely dinner here on a Friday night. The restaurant was quite full but no wait with our reservation. Food portions are quite generous. The New York Strip steak was enough for ample leftovers. Wine suggestion by our waiter was perfect. Will come back again soon.

   It was a fantastic night the food was wonderful the waiter Teo was great-a nice way to celebrate my birthday and got a free dessert with a candle

   As always, our dining here is a pleasure. Cocktails are well made. Their soups are wonderful. Husband had French Onion soup. I had the steak frites, my steak was prepared perfectly and the peppercorn sauce is the best. The fries are thin and crispy. Husband had the duck, which is one of their specialties and we agreed it is done to perfection. For dessert, we shared a grand marnier soufflé. Our server, Pierre, was attentive & always a pleasure when we are lucky to be at one of his tables.

   Very busy lunch in Saturday made the venue a bit noisy…lots of chatter. Food and service was good, but not exceptional. Still a very reliable spot for consistently good food especially in the evenings. Will go back.

   A delight every single time. The owner came to our table to say hi, asked us if we liked our table, Kostia took care of us, was super funny and made sure we had a terrific time, which just added to an overall amazing experience. The food was as always par none.

    Our favorite neighborhood restaurant featuring deliciously prepared French dishes with the best service around. We had their special Branzino dinner and the Roast Duck. Appetizers included their house smoked salmon and a goat cheese salad. All the food was fresh, wonderfully presented and delicious. For dessert, we shared a Grand Marnier souffle, the best in Dallas. Lavendou never disappoints.
