   En aspectos generales. Todo estuvo muy bien. Debido a que era sabado nos toco esperar un poco. Para recibir la mesa. Lamentablemente el menu que esta publicado no esta actualizado

   Sooooo delicious! My husband and I ate tapas here - grilled calamari, king oyster mushrooms, a special of the day (tripe dish), avocado salad and crab croquettes. For dessert we get the cheesecake special of the day (made with Manchego cheese) and fried milk. Drinks were sangria and Aperol spritz. Service was also phenomenal - they anticipate your needs, are helpful without being intrusive, and the chef even came out to greet us and ask how the food is. We cannot wait to eat here agin and try every dish on the menu!

   Simply amazing! The food is excellent, from tapas to paella. The service is outstanding. The staff are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Absolutely one of the best Spanish restaurants we've been to. I love it when the chef comes out from the kitchen and greets his guests. I highly recommend LaVinia.

   The experience was the best from start to finish. Booked our resv through open table but was only able to book for 1 person so made a note that table was for 2 & a birthday. They adjusted the resv for table of 2 automatically, reserved us a beautiful table & the chef is incredible, he greeted us at the door & remembered me from visiting before with other friends. The food was more than amazing, we had the anchovies appetizer & seafood paella for 2, my friend said it was just as excellent as what she’s eaten in Spain, the seafood was so fresh, everything tasted incredible! They even brought her a little flan with a candle on them! All the servers were so attentive, kind & great humour! I even recommended it to one of my members & she showed up the same evening with her partner to try it! Love this place & will def continue to promote & come back! Thank you LaVinia!

   Best Spanish restaurant ever. I used to go to a couple of Spanish restaurants in Toronto, they were good, but not as good as LaVinia. The moment you walk in you feel you are part of the LaVinia family. The staff is very friendly, and even the Chef comes out to check how’s the food. I’ve been in Spain several times, and LaVinia brought me back to those trips. Excellent food, excellent portions, and excellent price. I will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone.

    Greeted by the chef/owner as we walked through the door. Seated at a traditionally white linen set table. Clean and tidy. Ordered a few fresh drinks, spritz and a mezcal negroni. Hit the spot as we walked to the restaurant from Park Lawn and Lakeshore. Started our meal with the slices of Iberico Ham. Sweet, savoury, and delicious. Our second appetizer of tender and succulent Octopus arrived. Very well cooked and seasoned. My partner ordered the seafood risotto. Similar to a paella in cooking style. The shrimp, scallops and calamari within were all fresh and so good. I ordered the meat special, a succulent duck breast served with a sweet port reduction. Have not had duck in a long time and this one did not disappoint. I had a glass of Tempranillo with my meal. Overall delicious food and great service. A chef/owner that makes his way out to the dining room periodically to greet his guests and ask how they are enjoying their meal. A true gem in the lakeshore neighbourhood! We will return. Grazie to the entire staff!!
