Michelin-starred Jamavar London, located on Mayfair’s iconic Mount Street is celebrated for its gracious hospitality, inviting atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings inspired by the Viceroy’s House in New Delhi, the acclaimed restaurant is a rendition of a palatial Indian dining experience in the heart of Mayfair.

Here, exceptional pan-Indian dishes are thoughtfully prepared by Culinary Director and Executive Chef Surender Mohan using the freshest British produce and most authentic Indian cooking techniques. Was really disappointed with the service. Staff took so long to take my order had to call them over to order. On top of a service charge, we were charged a cover charge of 10% When asking for the cover charge to be removed the manager said this is a new law that has been added in the last week and can’t be removed and this is in the t&c in the reservation email.I booked this reservation 2 months ago so this cover charge was not mentioned. The manager was not helpful at all. I would not return due to the service

Today I have booked for my anniversary at 2:30. I would regret in future not going or recommending this restaurant. We reached we have been hurried to book food since the kitchen is closing soon. I wanted to have a memorable lunch but this pushy situation didn’t help me to enjoy the entire family event. We wanted to order another dessert but kitchen was closed. I wouldn’t recommend or never visit this restaurant to anyone. Am highly disappointed and upsetting day. I think they shouldn’t take 2:30 booking if they can’t promise to give good service.

Lovely service but the food was below average. The lamb biryani was so dry and not up to the level we expected

We booked the restaurant for it's Michelin star status, but unfortunately found the whole experience underwhelming. Food is very average, even our local Indian joint does better. Seating is crowded. Ambiance, presentation, nothing justified the Michelin stars. Good service was the only saving grace. There are much better options in London.

Excellent food. Really authentic yet innovative. Very good and attentive service. The Lunch menu is value for money and showcases some of the best dishes from the menu. Highly recommended.

The food here was absolutely divine! My husband and I did the tasting menu and we were stuffed before we got the main course. They were able to make modifications to accommodate my husband’s shellfish allergy. The tandoori bass fish was cooked to perfection! The chicken tikka was so flavorful as well as the lamb chop which was cooked to a perfect medium. My one criticism is they should have warned us that we would be stuffed! And the drinks were delicious as well. Excellent food and service! You won’t be disappointed.

Great Michelin Star Indian restaurant so we were ready to be blown away. It was ok. But nothing special and atmosphere was ok. Made us all miss Dishoom
