Diners can enjoy some of the most authentic French food in the valley when they visit Le Petit Restaurant. With the air of a bistro that has come straight from a Paris street, Le Petit serves French fare and adds its own California twist. The look and feel make it a great date spot that is conveniently open for late night dining. The interior is masked in an Art Deco decor, framed by high ceilings and filled with candle-lit and linen-covered tables, framed art adorning the colorful walls, white curved booths, and hardwood floors. The menu runs through a range of creative dishes, like the blackened salmon, grilled entrecote (rib-eye steak), escargot, herb-roasted chicken, and more, including daily specials. On Monday and Tuesday nights Le Petit offers a special 1.5 pound live Maine lobster, with soup or salad for $45.95. A notable wine list and full bar give diners ample drink choices. Le Petit Restaurant is available for private parties

Peter was the best waiter ever! Food excellent, albeit pricey, but we knew that when we went there. We didn't have to wait with our 7:30 reservations. Web site said corkage fee was $15 and they charged us $20.

Made a reservation for Lobster Night. There were 4 of us. They told us there was only one lobster left at the special deal. We could buy the twice as much lobsters but they were not included in the special deal. We all felt like we were being "upped" for the double the price lobsters. We didn't bite! Soup of the day was REALLY SALTY! as was the scallops. The duck was lovely! The best part of the night were the staff. They really tried to make our evening enjoyable. Sorry the food was so awful. Bon Appétit.

The perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived early, and stayed late. Met a wonderful French couple there and that added to the authenticity of the night. It was as if we were in Paris. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely evening.

Great neighborhood bistro with delicious food We come every other month, sometimes a little less often. The food is always excellent, the waiters always well-informed, helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere very pleasant. This is a place where one can have a quiet conversation and relax, even while people at a nearby table are celebrating a birthday. Recently, my husband enjoyed a scrumptious French onion soup, followed by a delicious rib eye steak au poivre with tons of frites. I had a marvelous shrimp cocktail (lots of shrimp), followed by buttery sea bass with a tasty, thin, tomato-y, garlic-y sauce, and yummy vegetables = squash, green beans, little roast potatoes and carrots. Although we were stuffed, we couldn't say no to dessert, and out came a wonderful poached pear with vanilla ice cream. Truly delicious. The portions are very generous; the taste is great. We've never had a bad meal here.

The wine, Shrimp Picante starter, Chilean Seabass & Prime Rib Eye was excellent. However, the Chocolate Soufflé was not to our liking.

I love this restaurant. I love the food and the service is always spot on. It was a little noisy but all restaurants are now with their open seating plans. But worth a visit if you have not been here. Great food.
