Established in the heart of Palm Springs at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, Le Vallauris has been one of the highest rated restaurants in the Coachella Valley since its inception in 1973. The exquisite cuisine at Le Vallauris is prepared by Executive Chef, Gabriel Morales, Award winning Angeleno Chef who has replaced the long time Chef Jean Paul Laire as he retired in 2024. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 as a home for the Roberson family, who managed Palm Springs' first hotel, The Desert Inn. Many grand parties were held in the house for guests such as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and many more. Later on, when the restaurant was established it became a favourite place for Presidents and the Hollywood elite, and local socialites.

The special was coco van and the chicken served was dry. We sat down for the first seating so it should have been much more moist. It was embarrassing since we took a guest who never dined there and she ordered the dish. Too bad for what we have come to expect as good food.

This was our second time having dinner here. We so enjoyed being in their beautiful patio, plus afterward in the bar with fabulous bartender Carlos!

We love Le Vallauris! Great experience with fabulous food and a very attentive staff, especially Brock our waiter. we are foodies and we both agreed this may have been the best meal we have ever had. The Scallops were are favorite, close 2nd was the lobster ravioli and branzino. The chocolate souffle was as light as a cloud, sooo yummy. The experience has changed dramatically from past visits. I had beef cheeks, which were bland, served over flavorless spinach and gummy mashed potatoes. My son had the veal, which he said was under seasoned and tough. The third diner had the branzino, seasoned well and cooked nicely, but not French. The servers didn’t seem to care about our displeasure. The busboy was the friendliest and most interactive. I grieve the changes.

Always a great time here very fancy. Took the wife for anniversary of course is expensive but this is why you come to the five star restaurants. We sat in the patio, which is always lovely but if you’re looking for more quiet or nobody around you, the inside is just as nice. Seems like everybody wants the patio.
