Lechon is a South American dining experience that seamlessly combines the fiery cooking of Argentina, Chile and Patagonia, along with creative inspiration of the chef. Enjoy perfectly charred 28-day dry-aged ribeye, grilled octopus with chorizo, housemade piquillo pepper and pork empanadas, slow roasted lechon, refreshing ceviches and smoked bone marrow.

Executive Chef Jaco Smith consistently pushes the boundaries on traditional Latin fare by incorporating wood-fired flavors into his cuisine while boasting a view of the Willamette River that few Portland restaurants can offer. Smith comes from a large family of cattle, sheep and grain farmers. He started cooking at a young age in his mother’s kitchen. His favorite childhood memories include the tastes of dulce de leche, flan and grilled breads, reminiscent of South American flavors and commonly found on South African kitchen tables.

    Join us at Lechon as we re-create a night in the Andes! Lechon will be partnering with Corazon del Sol to create a memorable night of Argentine food, CDS wines and friendship.                                                                     We came in to celebrate my partners birthday, he just wanted to do apps and drinks and try a few places we haven't been and Lechon was his favorite :) We had a lovely time and service from Tyler was such an effortless experience. She was helpful with the menu since we'd never been and attentive without being overbearing. All the cocktails were amazing and we considered ordering three more orders of empanadas but ultimately decided we'll hope to come back again. Thanks everyone :)

                                                                    I love it here! I’m a frequent visitor and I’ve yet to be disappointed with anything here. For the time I walk in the service of friendly and warm. The food is always delicious, I have my go tos, and the drinks are simply fantastic. Everyone I invite to the city I take them here. Last night we had Jeff and he was so kind. Thank you all for another beautiful experience!

                                                                    This was our 3rd time eating at LeChon (we're from Colorado and have family near Portland). We love it! We got there when they opened at 4pm. We had sangria and several different appetizers. Every dish was excellent! Our waiter Kaden was great! My wife and I highly recommend LeChon. They are very consistent with the quality of their food.

                                                                    Flavorful display of beautiful South American tapas style cuisine! Wagyu steak tartare, grilled octopus, and Brandt farms flat iron steak were among some of my favorites. The cocktails are delicious and beautifully garnished! I recommend the sangria! We will definitely be back to try the next “what the chef is eating” lineup!
