Thanksgiving Dinner at the Lighthouse Bar & Grill at the Hotel Bellwether was terrible. Overpriced and not worth the $120.00 plus automatic 20% tip. A meal at a fast food restaurant would have been better. First, they converted a nice restaurant space into a dining hall to maximize the number of people that could eat at one time. The stuffing was dry. The salmon was dry. the Roast Beef was undercooked and of poor quality. The Turkey? They made sure they scraped every piece of meat off the poor bird, and all they could give you were little chunks of tasteless meat. Salads were good. Deserts were from Costco we think.

This is our second time at the Lighthouse Grill Thanksgiving Buffett. The first visit was much better. There were less choices (no crab this time), and the turkey was doled out in small pieces rather than slices. The piece of roast beef was very tough. The price seems to be the only thing that increased. The service and ambiance however were well above most Bellingham restaurants. I would definitely recommend the Lighthouse Grill for their normal lunch and dinner menus.

There was just my wife and I, so I guess due to just 2 people, we were seated behind a wall with little or no view in a room that had nothing but tables and chairs. While the buffet was good, where we were seated was a long walk to the buffet area, passing lots of other seats that had nice views and better setting. Obviously, we could have been seated in a better place since there were open tables we passed on our way to the buffet. The cost of the meal was over $100.00 per person and was certainly not worth the cost. We decided after the meal that we will most likely not do a Thanksgiving dinner buffet at this location in the future.

We came for the Thanksgiving buffet. The food was definitely appetizing to look at, the flavors were fresh-tasting and well-thought-out, we probably verbally interacted with a total of 8 staffers who were all genuinely friendly and considerate. A couple of dishes that I assume were meant to be hot were room temperature by the time we had returned to our table, and there was something a bit counter-intuitive about which end of the buffet was intended to be the start (the appetizer table was on the right, which made me think that was the starting point, but it eventually became clear that the left side was also a starting point (?) and we were "going against the traffic"). There was a glitch right at the end, where the senior rate we'd signed up for did not make it onto the check, and our server had to re-compute the bill. In all, however, the experience was decidedly positive, and the Lighthouse's buffet is something we'll likely consider again if we choose to celebrate Thanksgiving "quietly," opting for some contemplation of the things we're grateful for this year instead of attending a bigger, louder gathering with lots of family and friends.

We arrived in the first seating. Food was abundant and everything was out ready for service. Everything was delicious. Clearly marked. It would be nice to know what beverages were included in the price.

First Supper club- food was cold- portions were huge for four courses. The cost was too high for the quality of the meal. The Wine was nice.

I look my dad and his gf to Bellwether for a special dinner. The food, service and ambience were all perfect. I specifically chose last night so we could hear Bill McDonaugh play piano—he is a master of the keyboard and made perfect selections for subdued and elegant dinner music. We all had a great time!
