The Carvery Sandwich is amazing. The beef was stacked and so flavorful. Fries were crispy, exactly how I like them. Great meal! Beautiful setting looking over the golf course to the lake and the mountains in the distance. Amazing Team who are very attentive and so friendly. I love 19 Okanagan!

A very busy & noisy lunch time experience ….but all was great …service and food was excellent …I had 3 guests and one more at the last minute, and they all enjoyed it very much …staff was accommodating for an extra chair at the table. Well done !

I had a great welcoming, a perfect table, excellent service, love the menu, the caviar and beef Wellington are delicious. I had an amazing dining experience once again and I will go back. I would only enjoy having valet service, specially in winter, it’s so convenient and would be part of this premium experience.

In town traveling and decided to stop in for lunch. The server took good care of us for lunch and we had an absolutely spectacular experience. Our cocktails were perfectly balanced and delightful. From apps to dessert, every forkful was magic. Cannot recommend it enough!

The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. I introduced my friend to the various O&B restaurants and we were booked for Maison Selby on Monday but then I got an email about Canoe. I told him about the Christmas Eve lunch. The staff called to confirm and I told them this is his first visit. They came through and had us seated at the table facing the CN Tower. The food was phenomenal as it always is. I had the onion soup and it blew my mind. I am not a soup person but seeing Parmesan custard in the description peaked my curiosity. On the surface a pureed soup but it looked like art with the green oil drizzle and black pepper delicately grounded and sprinkled. Below the surface were the caramelized onions and parmesan custard. Ohhh the flavour sensations having a party on my tastebuds! He had the Waldorf and said it was delicious. We both had the beef Wellington. So tender and flavourful and that was just the meat! I actually did the foodie happy dance in my chair nom nom nomming! The roasted veggies, deep fried kale and mashed potatoes were lovely. To be honest they weren’t hot but I wasn’t going to ruin the dining experience by saying anything. I thought the pastry was perfect, mine fell open in two layers. He would have liked his to be flakier on the outside layer. He had the sticky toffee pudding and absolutely loved it. I had the white chocolate cheesecake with the pistachio crème anglaise and raspberry sorbet & I loved it. The flavours and textures were my vibe! I tried two mocktails. I loved the ambrosia! The flavour combos were amazing! Then I tried the gala. The drink itself was underwhelming compared to the first but its saving grace was the fruit. I asked our lovely server and she said maraschino cherries. No way! Not the ones you get on top of sundaes. Way better! They were the star of that drink along with the really cool rectangular ice cube! Lovely seeing Oscar from our Maison Selby days. Told him the venue switch story for lunch and he was the 4th staff to say: Really? Love it! O&B ❤️

Excellent, attentive service from Shama!! All of our choices were tasty. Shared a porterhouse steak and brought home leftovers. Loved the Caesar salad dressing. The food was delicious! We had appetizers and main course food. Pre dinner drinks were good, but the on-tap cider keg went dry as soon as I ordered a glass. Ended with s can instead, but was teased with a sample from the tap, only to be told the keg went dry. My only dissatisfaction.

We had the tasting menu, one of the services was good the rest was outstanding. So much flavour and the wine pairing was really on point. In terms of service it was one of the best experience I have had. Both the waiter and the somelier were really knowledgeable about what they were serving and very hospitable. It's was quite expensive but I feel like we got our money's worth.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Gastown, so I looked forward to showing my SIL this place. As my SIL was still recovering from a bout of diverticulitis, I didn’t order a bottle of wine. I had two wines by the glass, and we shared a few dishes. We started with their fabulous bread service, then a Dungeness Crab salad, an Artichoke tart and their Terrine of Fois Gras. Our “main” was their Agnolotti. I had a glass of 2022 Garnier et Fils Chablis with the salads and a glass of 2016 Synchromesh Pinot Noir from Storm Haven Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, BC with foie gras and agnolotti. The Artichoke Tart was half salad, half egg custard tart with pieces of artichoke between the two. It was a light, refreshing dish. The Dungeness Crab Salad was a visual surprise … the crab was placed between thin slices of radish and decorated with green leaves. It was interesting; perhaps a little too subtle in flavor for me. The foie gras terrine came with two thick pieces of brioche. The square of terrine was decorated with squares of wine jelly, and cherry halves. The terrine was soft and silky and the brioche so buttery. The star of the evening was the Sweet Corn Agnolotti. Pillows of mascarpone pasta were covered with pieces of sweet corn and a generous helping of sliced black truffle. This dish was “to die for” and I wanted to order a second plate. I love the food at L’Abattoir and dine here every time I come to Vancouver.

Girls Xmas dinner, we all enjoyed our meals, I had the pork belly salad, very filling and flavourful. Wine is expensive some cheaper options would be nice. Staff were friendly and always checking if we needed anything. It was a bit chilly by the window/door, but overall I would go back and try some more things.

I have been at this restaurant many times. The food is always excellent. And the views are amazing. I only wish they have better and more non alcoholic drinks choices like lemonade, apple juice and other basic drinks. Specially for people that don’t drink alcohol or non-alcoholic bar drinks.

Usually I do not take a time for writing Review since I am pretty busy all the time. However I am taking some take to write some review on this restaurant since I respect them very much. I wrote I marked 5 stars all through the category. I have visited this restaurant over 8 years or so and it has been great all the time. Absolutely Masaki is the go to place for bring your family , friends and would have a great moment there for sure. Yoshi-san has exceptionally great knowledge on Sake and I have never meet person like him including Japan. Also great person and provide an excellent hospitality. Very much enjoyed kind Japanese server as well. Please try Masaki and let me know if may review is not true !!!

Awesome experience. Our waiter ordered for us. He brought a great assortment of sashimi and sushi, we split two different glasses of saki and had a dessert. Bill was $260 for two plus tip, but for the quality and variety of food it was worth it as a special occasion dinner.

Overall we had a great experience for dinner. We were greeted right away by our server who got drinks going. Once they were dropped off he did take a little while to come back for our food orders. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The one comment from 2 people at the table was the fettuccine could have been a bit saucier. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming at The Phoenix.

We ate in an outside structure. We were the only ones dining outside but our structure was pretty basic and could have used a few pictures or items around to make it look nicer. The other outside structures looked nicer. Food was absolutely fantastic.

The food was terrific all the items we chose were delicious our server Kim helped us with ordering as we had not been there in a while and was always there when we needed anything it was a great dining experience the only thing that was negative was it’s a large room and the noise level was quite high and maybe it was just the table behind us was a bit boisterous

My husband and I are thoroughly pleased with everything we ordered. My favourite appy was the Franco Fries. Did not know what to expect but this was such a great starter with just the right combination of savoury and sweet! The shoestring fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. We also had the calamari, very tender with just a touch of light batter on the outside. This was also quite good by the way but the Franco Fries upstaged the calamari! I had the short ribs as my main entree and wow this was so tender! Hubby ordered a pasta bolognese dish, I did not try it so I can't say either way, but my husband thought it was very good. Panna cotta dessert was sooooo good. We were so full we split it and Im so glad we did. That panna cotta was big enough for sharing. I loved the subtle sweetness and the cookie crumble on top with the fruit compote. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would return again. Our waiter (I'm sorry I can't recall his name) was attentive, pleasant, and quick. Overall we had a fantastic experience.

Food and service were both excellent, the sommelier picked out the perfect wine for us as well. We tried the 5 course tasting menu and everything was phenomenal, especially the dessert (the white chocolate mousse with cucumber sorbet). Overall, an excellent evening and I will definitely return.

It was outstanding in all areas. The service was awesome from start to finish. I was a server on a ship for many years so I know what it takes to give good service. I'm also a very good cook , so when going out with my husband he is fussy, its hard to find a restaurant with good food. You aced it from the start salad we received to creme bur lee, Oh plus the wine!! Thank you for making our date night amazing!!!

This was the second time we've invited guests from out of town to join us at The Common Stove. Always a fantastic dinner of incredible flavors and plating creativity. My bride and I shared two entree's: The Halibut and the Duck rolled into pasta shells. Everything was divine without exaggeration. Service with Mel was impeccable: friendly, knowledgeable, and with us at just the right times without hovering. Even the sticky toffee pudding to complete the experience was enjoyed by all four of us..... we joked about asking for a straw for the sauce! We'll be back of course because we love it and there is always more to the menu to enjoy!

Perhaps the Wooly concept is best represented by renowned Canadian artist Charlie Pachter’s Queen on a Moose” paintings. These pictures conveyed what would happen if a British pub was transferred to Canada. That pub would feature local foods, beverages and decor. It would be an All-Canadian pub featuring the best of the British pub culture. A local or home-base pub for its guests.

The Wooly was inspired by the Ontario micro-brewery explosion that occurred in the late 1980’s. The brewery industry was dominated by 3 large companies for over 40 years until the start of the craft brewery phenomenon. Teaching a course on beers at the University of Guelph Bob Desautels was keenly aware of this development. When an opportunity to open a pub in downtown Guelph emerged he decided to feature only small micro-brews on tap.

The rest is history!

We always have an amazing meal here. We try to visit at least twice a year. Our server, Cathy, is delightful and explains the pairings at each course. Food is amazing. Wine is incredible. Even the "server helper" (sorry! Didn't get a name!!) is attentive and professional. Even laughing at my jokes, politely lol. It is such a treat to come here. We are fans!!!

Lunch was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the chicken pot pie and Waldorf salad. Very creative presentation for the salad accompanying the pot pie. The service was excellent even though the restaurant was full. The kitchen was right on from order to fulfillment. I can't wait to return. Reservations are highly recommended.

Elle travailla dans de nombreux restaurants étoilés en Europe tels que L’Astrance à Paris (3 étoiles Michelin) ou encore au Dal Pascatore en Italie (Relais & Château, 3 étoiles Michelin). En 2010, elle se voit décerner le prix du chef de l’avenir et du meilleur restaurant par l’Académie Internationale de la Gastronomie.
C’est lors de son passage en Italie qu’elle rencontra son mari, Marco Marangi, expert sommelier. Ayant à son tour cumulé plusieurs expériences en gastronomie,
De cet amour, sont nés les restaurants Chez Sophie et Toto au Liban, de véritables succès!
C’est en 2013 que Sophie decida de poser ses valises là où tout a commencé afin d’offrir aux MTL.

Food was phenomenal. If you want wood fire pizza then you need to go here. Small spacing allows for an intimate setting but it is a little noisy. Staff were quick and responsive. A true gem in the city.

Birthday dinner with the family. We were 5, plenty of room. The service was excellent and the server knew the offered products very well and was able to make great recommendations. Too bad the place closed, this was a jewel!
