The results are in and we are proud to announce the OpenTable 2018 Top 50 Fit for Foodies restaurants in the UK. This year’s list was determined by analysing more than 730,000 reviews left by our diners. The top ranked restaurant received their award at Restaurant Magazine’s National Restaurant Awards on June 11th. One of the nicest meals I have ever had from start to finish. All staff were very polite, attentive and the service was excellent. There is not one thing I can note as being bad, everything was perfect and the food was amazing. Highly recommend to anyone and I will be returning.

Stopped in Glasgow on route to the Highlands and booked to eat at this lovely little restaurant after seeing it in the Michelin Guide. An exceptional meal and brilliant front of house service. Very reasonably priced for a meal as good as this.

Unbelievable tasting Menu. So many highlights. There wasn’t one okay or bad dish. Every plate that arrived, I would happily ordered as a solo course. Very knowledgeable and attentive staff. A real gem of a restaurant. Best I have been to in Newcastle

Friday afternoon and the joint was jumping in a nice friendly way. Valentines special 5 course taster was chosen so we tried something different rather than choose our fabulous favourites like Souffle , Fresh seafood or Steak. The finesse and flavours are always spot on and this set menu was no different. Fabulous seafood , brilliant beef , and a show piece baked Alaska to finish with aplomb ! As usual the staff were flat out but always friendly and engaging. All in all , it is not cheap but it is way better quality wise and in fact is very good value compared to some of the local so called competitors to be honest. Well worth a try if you have never been. We think of it as a wee monthly treat that we look forward to , savour at the time , and look forward to the next visit.

This was our 4th visit every time has been excellent. There was a very slight delay in our dessert choice being delivered, I didn’t actually complain but they took 10% of the bill anyway. I would highly recommend these venue
