Casa Virginia is my new favorite restaurant in Mexico. The calming and stunning interior immediately transports you to the beginning of the last century and makes for an oasis in a loud and bustling city. Every member of staff was welcoming, attentive, and friendly. And the food! The food is mouthwatering and full of flavor, and it speaks to the eyes and well as to the stomach. I enjoyed a range of delights from tender sea bass to the most scrumptious asparagus and beyond, and my only disappointment was that I had no room for dessert. I’ll be sure to visit Casa Virginia at least once on every trip to Mexico City and I would urge you to do the same and enjoy the culinary magic of Mónica Patiño. Of many great meals we had in CDMX, this was without a doubt the best. The whole grilled fish was incredible, some of the best fish we’ve ever had. And our server Jonathan was outstanding! Obviously this is a restaurant for fish lovers, but if that’s you then you won’t be disappointed!

We were in Mexico City for business. Costa Guadiana was recommended to us, and we are happy we dined there. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They gave us great service throughout the dinner. We started with the ceviche and mushrooms appetizers. Both were seasoned to perfection, and tasted amazing. Our entrees were also delicious. I ordered the filet tacos and my colleague had the fish Veracruz. We also enjoyed their margaritas, made with fresh lime juice and shaken to perfection. We will definitely go back!

Lovely greeting from hostess. Definitely try the Gasolinera drinks. Fantastic. A server comes to your table with a molcajete and makes a salsa to your specifications. Excellent. We had the taquitos de pato con mole-fantástico-and pastel de elote with unbelievably great ice cream. Lively place in Polanco. Oh and I requested a taste of grasshopper and they gave me a generous portion. Loved them! Our waiter Alfredo Matus was friendly, professional and helpful. We’ll be back.

Overall a terrific experience. Because we were seven, we had to go with a pre-fix menu instead of a la carte. Luckily, there was something that everyone liked. The food quality and preparation was excellent. Service was a little rushed until we asked them to slow down, which they did immediately. Then we dined at a nice relaxed pace. Good wine list and cocktails. Fairly priced for experience.

Their food and overall attention is amazing! From the valet parking to the kitchen everything is good. The atmosphere is great and their decoration is lovely When it comes to their food the flavor is amazing and in top of that while being cooked in front of you, you get a very different sense of what you are going to be having for lunch. Definitely a must try!

Yoshimi, "good hearted person", respects the Japanese tradition incorporating elements of innovation pertaining to Hyatt Regency Mexico City. Located in the heart of Polanco, it offers an authentic Japanese culinary experience in a sophisticated architectural atmosphere of contemporary Japan.

The prevailing element is Japan’s native geometric pattern asa no ha, “hemp leaves” that represents prosperity and is displayed in its most simple form in Yoshimi spaces. You will find art pieces converging with Japanese ceramics and a linen sculpture by Agnieszka Kotecka, which stand for a dialogue between tradition and modernity. Moreover the new lighting concept adds a special touch of subtlety to Akira Kameta Miyamoto’s architectural design.

Lastly, Yoshimi’s atmosphere extends towards the Zen Garden, inviting to contemplate all the elements which make up the space and which are specially intended to promote inner peace.

We had a great experience. Loved the restaurant !!! We had fish, deer and pork and every dish was incredible . The food was delicious and the service was excellent . The space is very pleasant but when it’s cold it does not work as well . We asked to be seated in the only room where you could have some cover. They should get some heaters ..
