Wonderful experience and the food was amazing

My wife and I have done many chef tasting menus at other restaurants and this was by far our favorite. I loved that I could pick our own time. Usually, the seating times for tastings are set. All of the dishes were outstanding and chef Ebbe was working the whole counter, serving guests and explaining the ingredients, answering any questions or just talking to guests when they wanted to talk. Desserts were fantastic too. Overall, a wonderful dinner/experience and will definitely do it again.

Ghee means PURE and has a symbolic meaning both spiritually and in the kitchen of an Indian home. The restaurant encompass traditional Indian home cooking, ingredient driven using local artisan purveyors. Chef Niven highlights the experience of dining at Ghee: "I want to my guests to walk into Ghee with the sense of entering my home. I want them to feel at home. I want them to smell the aromas and spices and get more engaged in their meal. One of the things that I always tell my cooks is, ask questions, be inquisitive if you don’t know. We LOVE Ghee! Until Ghee we ate Indian food one or two times a year. Now we go to Ghee several times a month. The food is spectacular. The servers are professional and knowledgeable about each item on the menu. We love the backyard pakora (which has ingredients from Niven Patels backyard), the charred corn, the Bell and Evans Tandoor Chicken to name a few. Any bread is delicious. Jose, the manager, and Jojo always make us feel special. The Wynwood Ghee is also wonderful!

Stubborn Seed is a tasting menu only restaurant, with the option of a la carte service or the tasting menu at the bar. Reservations are available for table service and also available for the bar. Dress code strictly enforced as smart-casual. We are unable to accommodate tasting menus for guests following a vegetarian or vegan diet.

A cancellation fee of $50 per person will incur if cancelled within 24 hours of the reservation. On holidays and special occasions, cancellations fees will be $100 per person.

The food was seriously good. Well flavored, but light and veggies were cooked perfectly. Crepe appetizer was amazing and I could have eaten every noodle dish on the menu.
