As we were a group of 9 we had to have a set banquet. That said, the staff were very happy to accommodate any special dietary requests. The food was great, lots of flavour and the right portions, no one went hungry. The service was outstanding. This was the perfect restaurant for a catch up lunch with friends. Highly recommend.

Great place for a celebratory meal. Excellent views over Hobart and the Derwent River. Food and service was excellent and we really enjoyed the ‘theatre’ of our crepe suzette being cooked in front if us.

Our entire experience was excellent. Greeting upon arrival was warm & friendly. The speed in which our high tea choice was delivered to the table was also excellent. Today’s lunch is the second time we have eaten at the woodhouse and while the meals were very good the menu hadn’t changed in that time. It would be nice if the meals are providing seasonal rates that the menu could change in that time.
