Our outside area is covered and heated in the colder months. There is the chance of some side wind/rain though if it's blowing a hoolie!

A sister restaurant to Soho House & Co’s Electric Diner Portobello, expect everything from burgers and bagels to salads and cheesecake, with plenty of shakes and cocktails.

Electric Bar & Diner serves breakfast, brunch and all-day classics. Eat-in at the counter or in one of the plush red leather booths or grab a coffee and a slice of pie to go from the dessert counter.

Tables of 7+ require a deposit of £25pp which is non-refundable in the event of cancellation or no show and will need to order from a set menu of £55 per person.

Please be advised bookings cannot be made for drinks only. Pets, other than registered guide dogs are not permitted at The Ned. We will try to accommodate pushchairs where possible but please be aware there may not be space at the table. We are not a ‘fancy pants’ establishment. Not in the least. We offer good quality, home-cooked, locally sourced (where possible) food. 90% of our menu is made on the premises. Certainly not ‘Pub Grub’ but not ‘Gastro Pub’ either. It’s good value for money. However, our standards are high, very high. Not only in the quality of the food that comes into and leaves the kitchen but also in the presentation, the delivery to the table and overall customer service. We’re definitely not ‘Silver Service’ either but all of our staff are attentive, smartly dressed and will always go that extra mile wherever they can. These are just some of the reasons we were awarded the Taste of the West GOLD award in 2019.
We are a dog friendly establishment, very dog friendly. However, please tell us at the time of booking so that we can place you in our Bar area , as opposed to our Restaurant.

Situated within easy reach of Derby and Nottingham with ample free car parking facilities.
Our award winning Two Rosette restaurant is currently serving Champagne Breakfast, for that special treat Wednesday - Saturday. Afternoon Tea's are served Thursday - Saturday. Dinner is served on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we also offer a three course Sunday Lunch. A great selection of local drinks, fresh cocktails and a well-stocked cellar provides superb wine to accompany your meal.
We are currently not serving midweek lunch.

The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. To the rear of the building in our historic Cobbled Garden you will find our own brewery housed in the stables which were used for the horses and stage coaches as they passed through the village. From Ales to YPA’s, to Blonde beers we are a small producer using primary English hops brewing exclusively in house for The Hop Vine and our sister pub the Legh Arms.

Our countryside sister the Legh Arms is our latest addition to the family and is situated in the pretty hamlet of Mere Brow. Here we serve our trademark delicious home produced quality food and excellent home brewed ales. Your hosts Mike & Julie and their superb team bring a wealth of experience in the trade and have sourced the best in the local area to tempt you.

We have a menu using the best of local produce, including seafood landed on the beach at Weybourne!

We have a great bar area, with a roaring log burner in winter, two dining areas and a lounge.

We are dog friendly but we ask that Fido is kept on leads at all times. Dogs are permitted in the bar, bar dining area and garden, but not in the lounge and main dining room.

A great place for a drink and mardle with locals at the bar, a stop over on your walk or an evening meal. We have something for everyone at the Ship.
