Love mama’s! We try to go every time we’re in Maui and it’s always delicious. Pau Hana is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Love the ambience too and staff is always very friendly.

Tide pools was a beautiful, lovely experience. The food was very good. We had the Hawaiian catch, Filet, and started with scallops. We enjoyed the sunset here. Yes, it’s a splurge but it was a very memorable meal on vacation.

As always we had a wonderful meal! We’ve been coming here for at least a decade and have never been disappointed. The Sashimi Napoleon was delicious! Wonton wrappers fried and layered with ahi and salmon sashimi. A special creamy wasabi (?) salad dressing accompanied the dish. A hit, always. We also had the fish and chips that were served on a bed of coleslaw which my husband enjoyed thoroughly! Try the “Gingersnap” for a drink! If you don’t like ginger this isn’t the drink for you! So refreshing and outstanding! As always an outstanding meal! Have to say that the staff was equally outstanding, helpful and accommodating. Couldn’t have had a better meal!

The food is exceptional. Arugula and beet salad has a fantastic dressing and is beautifully presented. Hawaii Short Rib is tender and delicious. My husband had the Chef’s special - 2 Fish entree’, which included Butter fish and one other. Both were fantastic. The views are spectacular!

Gaylords now rebranded as The Plantation House by Gaylords offers one of Kauai's most beautiful settings for lunch, dinner and happy hour. Located in the historic Kilohana Plantation home, diners are seated around an open-air courtyard with views of the plantation grounds and Mt. Waialeale in the distance. Our kitchen uses only the freshest, seasonal ingredients supporting our local farmers and fishermen. Our 67-acre sustainable farm provides much of the produce and herbs used in our dishes and cocktails. Menu items include starters like fresh Ahi poke, fried brie, fresh seafood, delicious steaks and vegan entrees too. Don't forget about our famous Banana Cream Pie for dessert! Take a walk around the Kilohana grounds, shop in our assorted boutiques, visit the Koloa Rum shop, go on a rum safari adventure or take a ride on the plantation train.

From the delightful reception with Lilly to the outstanding service (with a smile) with the bar service manager and the efficiency and knowledge of Jeff, our server and to top it off with very tasteful dishes, excellent wine and an ambience matched by no other restaurant in the world . . . my bride of 48 years and I had had one of the most inviting evenings out in all of our years. The food is delicious and plentiful. We were each going to order Caesar salads to start our mean but our server said one was big enough to share, and he was right. We ordered the Steak for Two and were pleased to find it could be prepared to two different temps. It was perfect. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere was great with live music and a partial outdoor feel when they opened the canopies. We lingered after our amazing food so we could savor the moments. The staff was so attentive and pleasant and the food came out quickly. We had an excellent experience.
