Amazing food and service as ever. My favourite Italian restaurant as evidenced by my visits every few weeks. If you haven’t tried this restaurant yet you are in for a treat. They even made a dish for my guest that was not on the menu (fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp) and she said it was the best she’d ever had. I tasted it and agree.

Everything and everyone from the behind scene staff, front of house, food, drinks and ambiance was exceptional. Our table of 4 greatly enjoyed our dinner experience. We could’ve stayed longer but we had theatre tickets. The noise level was greater than usual because of larger bookings of Christmas parties and our table was right next to a very large party which made conversation difficult!! However, it’s that time of year and it won’t stop me booking again

Sorrentino's West has a bar too. The wine selection at the bar is pretty decent. The bar service is fast.

Cantina Norte is the continuation of the wonderful tradition of Cafe Norte from the old days in the Village when my husband and I were regular patrons. The new restaurant combines Mexican tradition and contemporary design. Margaritas were excellent, our favourite Chiles Relleno did not disappoint. Coming back from Toronto we enjoyed good service and loved buying great BC Pinot Noir at a reasonable price and being able to take the bottle with us. It was a lovely experience.

It was a great experience. We had a very attentive server, the food was very good. I love that the eating areas are divided up so although there was a couple large Christmas parties we didn’t hear them. We had a wonderful table overlooking the lake.

We’ve eaten here a few times before and always had a good experience, so decided to treat ourselves for a birthday lunch. Everything was perfect! I had the seared ahi, which was done perfectly, and my husband had the steelhead, which was to die for. Really, I don’t think we could have made a wrong choice today; all the staff seemed to be really on their game.

This was a PreChristmas lunch for our Golf group of friends. We sat on the veranda next to the ‘roaring’ fire. The Christmas decor was lovely, the food was delicious (we all opted for the seared scallops and pumpkin risotto). Desserts were decadent. And the service was friendly & efficient. The squalls passing across the wall of windows made it seem like we were in a snow globe.

The Royal Hotel is lovely and we have been several times. The food is great with a range from pizza to more creative and unique. The kale salad is one of our favorites. The service was excellent and our server Carrie was very lovely. There were also some new cocktails on the menu which we tried and were excellent. Highly recommend!!

Treadwell offers indoor dining and outdoor dining on our enclosed and heated patio. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

During the Fall and Winter months, dinner reservations are available on Monday thru Thursday from 5pm to 730pm. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, we offer two seatings - between 5pm and 6pm; as well as between 745pm and 8:45pm (with each table allocated 2hr 30min). Please note that our menu for dinner is a multi-course, prix fixe menu ($115 per guest).

Lunch reservations are available between 11:30am and 2pm, with our lunch a la carte menu being offered. Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am

We went out for a team outing on a weekday- wednesday- it was not crowded so that was great for us as we cud speak.The food was amazing- for the mains- the portion sizes are too good for 1 person, drinks- cocktail were okay, the best part was when I ordered the vegan burger- the server asked me do I want it to be vegetarian or vegan- cos vegan had soy pattie which made it dry while if I was vegetarian they cud replace the soy patty with potato patty and the vegan cheese slice with normal one- and tryst me I had that soy burger before - this one was wayyyy better!! I found that suggestion to be very useful! Overall it was a great time spent

The classic diners are the best way to order; steaks and prime rib always done perfectly to what you order. Service was excellent as every course was brought on a timely basis never waiting but a couple of minutes to have plates cleared and next course served. The special occasion complementary Billy Miner Pie is a wonderful bonus topping off a most enjoyable visit. And the no HST on everything we ordered; wine, beer and all the food is a nice contribution from our 2 levels of government!

We had a good time at Posta. It was full as there were a lot of groups celebrating year-end parties, but the service was flawless. Daniel K was very attentive and helpful. We all liked the PEI mussels as appetizer. The steak was so delicious but pricewise a bit on the high side. Will definitely come back!
