We were in the north room. There were too many LED lights in all the many chandeliers. The LED lights were very Flickery and therefore quite an uncomfortable experience. Two of us left with headaches.

The food was great. The server was okay however not super hospitable. Bonterra is one of my favs though so I’ll be back over and over. Calamari is absolutely the best in the city!!

I ordered the fetaccine Alfredo and my husband ordered the winter salad with blackened chicken. We were very pleased with our meals. Tasty, fresh, and filling. The staff were attentive. Even at night the view across the lake was stunning. We will be back again and again.

Once again, Pier 7 on a rainy day during the week is magical! I know Pier7 is at it's best when the sun is shining and you get the beautiful views across the water, but I have to say - it's also a great place to go when the weather's not so hot! It's kind of a magical spot. Service is excellent and the food is good too. I like seeing the mist over the water on a grey and gloomy afternoon. It was wonderful. Highly recommend going here even when it's the middle of the week and it's raining and grey outside. What a treat!

We are frequent Earls patrons. This was not our best visit this time. My wife’s Steak Frites was excellent as expected. My salmon was cold, fishy tasting and over cooked. My son’s burger was excellent. Service was ok but slow. Overall, ok but not quite up to Earls standards

Go here often. On the water downtown. Like sitting outside in warmer months. Food is normally very good. Veal was not quite as tender as it could be this time. Mom had the salmon with apple butter sauce and licked her plate clean!

Our meal started with escargots as appetizer, a light but savory opener, follow by baked salmon, accompanied by specially ordered asparagus with beurre blanc. Our thanks and appreciation to Jason, Sole's general manger, who made this happen. The "drifting" chardonnay on the wine list was a perfect fit for both appetizer and main course. Our meal ended with a capuccino, timing wrong but taste so right, because we didn't have room left for creme brulee, which would have been the favorite. What made the whole experience even better was Monica's perfect service. Will be back soon, especially because the amazing patio is now open again!

El Pocho is one of our absolute favourite places in the city and it never disappoints. We had never had the fixed menu before because we usually come with a smaller group but it was just as amazing as always! The food was paced well, there was a lot of it for the price, and we were pleasantly full at the end of the meal. Would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone (and we always do, because we love it dearly).

Emily, our server, was a delight. It was not a busy evening so she had time to talk with us. She made the evening very special for us. We were old friends catching up and requested a table where we could sit and be able to speak without too much noise and that is exactly what we got. The renovations are lovely, the food was delicious and half price bottles of wine were all reasons it was a lovely evening.
