Acre is our new top favorite restaurant! Wow! The place is beyond cool. Come early so someone like Max can give you an amazing tour of the property! The restaurant is spectacular and the prices are very reasonable. I tried the key lime cocktail. It was the best! My fish was perfectly cooked. The tomatoe tartare we shared was so fresh! We vacation in San Jose del Cabo annually, and we have been coming to Carbon Cabron for several years now. This place is 100% about the food. There is no other place in and around Los Cabos where one finds a more thoughtful, careful, and creative preparation. We generally eat a la carte, only because the tasting menu is simply too much food for us, but each a la carte menu item has some interesting and tasty accompaniments, and you simply cannot make a wrong move. I have never tasted broccoli, beets, or onions prepared in this way, and the flavors are myriad and blend together magically. We also had the short rib, served on the bone, which is amazingly tender, juicy, and flavorful. The shrimp dish is equally lovely, served on a bed of pork belly with a lively aioli. The wine list is relatively short but there isn't a dud on the list, and the mark-up, unlike several of the more well-known glitzy places toward San Lucas, is actually reasonable. The service is impeccable, and what is lost in a relatively non-descript shoppinig-center location is more than compensated by a rich rustic interior that has a private, spacious, non-crowded feel to it. Pay attention to these folks--they received regional recognition from Michelin in 2024 and might soon be in contention for a star.

We were in Mexico City for business. Costa Guadiana was recommended to us, and we are happy we dined there. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They gave us great service throughout the dinner. We started with the ceviche and mushrooms appetizers. Both were seasoned to perfection, and tasted amazing. Our entrees were also delicious. I ordered the filet tacos and my colleague had the fish Veracruz. We also enjoyed their margaritas, made with fresh lime juice and shaken to perfection. We will definitely go back!

The food is good, good ambience, but the waiter was so insisten recommending us the plates with the highest prices, and recommending us extras without telling us it was an extra charge. It is very obvious they want to have you with a big account. That kind of actitud is not a pleasant experience.

RESERVATION POLICIES:

Good food, great ambiance, and fantastic service. We enjoyed our visit to Ling Ling immensely. We had a great seat on the patio, with a view overlooking the city. Jose Luis was an exceptional waiter, providing service at a level that's hard to find - always there when we needed something, without ever making us feel like he intruded. The little touches, such as changing dirty plates between each course were greatly appreciated as well. The portions of each dish are small, which we appreciated - it allowed us to try several things without having to waste anything. And the white chocolate and raspberry desert was absolutely out of this world delicious! ;) (I also recommend the camaron crujiente, or crunchy shrimp)

Amazing sunset view of Lover's Beach and El Arco amidst the hip vibe of Manta...and the food did not disappoint, either. We went for the 4-course tasting menu and it was a worthy dining experience full of creativity and interesting flavor combinations - all served with panache and professionalism. We also appreciated the high quality, reasonably priced agave spirits menu. All in all, we will be back!

Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio. Despite this big change, our principles initially founded remain the same: to offer food that distinguishes the best of local products.

It’s not an exaggeration to say this is truly the best restaurant in Mexico City. What a special place. The passion that goes into the food, the incredible service too- it comes together so beautifully. The staff also really know the menu and what they offer is nothing short of brilliant. This was my second time dining here and I was blown away once again. Meroma is run by a chef couple. He is from the US and she is from Mexico. I remember the first time I went it was before they had menu option in English. The owner came over to our table and it was a great experience. La Roma has changed but Meroma is just solid all the way around. Looking forward to returning.

Humble spot sitting on the street without proper bathroom facilities, but lovely service and very good food. It's always adventurous for a restaurant to showcase wines from the Road Less Traveled, but all in all it was a very nice stop in a wonderful neighbourhood. If you're eating there, don't pass up walking by the nearby "Casa Prunes", truly an architectural gem. .

Everything was spectacular from the time the host is greeted us at the door, to looking out across the cityscape from the balcony where we sat to the exceptional mariachi band that serenaded us throughout the evenings meal. Highly recommend as a place for special occasions and romantic dinners.

Really spectacular in a tiny little spot. I think perhaps only six tables and a small bar but the service, flavors and presentations were fantastic. While we were there we made a reservation to have it again for lunch in two days! Great beer selection too!
