I want to take Chad home with me. But if I have to let him stay, then I hope all patrons get to experience his magic. But he does not work alone. Clearly the kitchen staff is amazing. Loved the tuna tacos, Caesar salad and lamb t-bone. Normally I don’t order dessert but I highly recommend the sticky pudding. Bottom line this is a 5* hands down.

We sat outside for a fabulous lunch experience. Our server was extraordinary. It was difficult for us to choose what to eat as every item on the vast menu looked delicious. Two of us had brunch items and the other two had lunch items and we were all extremely happy with our choices and ate every morsel of food. We were able to eat at a leisurely pace as the server did not rush us and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend.

Wonderful, we received a table overlooking the ocean, it was a moderately chilly day so the patio heaters were all out and the staff was periodically checking that we were comfortable. The food was very good and served hot and our cocktails chilled and filled. A fantastic holiday brunch.

Always such a good time. Great atmosphere, great food and great drinks. My husband recently found out he’s gluten intolerant and they have a lot of gluten free options noted on the menu. Our server was great at answering any questions we had. The “D” Cup cocktail was yummy and definitely would get again. We tried the steak tartare and a couple rolls to start and all were fantastic. Too many good entrees to list that we like but you can’t go wrong with any. This is a restaurant we will continue to visit every year over Christmas when in town!

Great food and friendly service! Food was delicious this time and both my husband and I noticed the difference! I had the fish sandwich and he enjoyed the fish tacos. They offer kama’aina discount too. Pack up Aunty, cousins and the rest of the ohana for a good fun and Ono meal. We’ll be back soon!

Food was great! Service/logistics were off as we had reservations but ended up getting seating 50 minutes after our reserved time. Didn’t help some of our mains were forgotten as well. Must have been an off night as we’ve been here several times and service is usually on point.

My wife and I try to get together with her sister and her husband onve a month. This morning. 11:45, we met at Jake's in PS. It was a beautiful day - my only rregret is that we did not sit outside in the courtyard of out at curbside. Regardless, the staff was very attentive without being oppressive. Our lunches were reasonably priced, as were our cocktails, and very good. We will definitely be revisiting this restaurant. Special thanks to ut wait staff - especially Beto. Merry Christmas all

Split the Christmas salad with blue cheese, greens, cranberries and walnuts; refreshingly piquant. Steak au poivre and Trout almondine were excellent! Traditional Buche de Noel dessert; can’t make this at home! Pleasant, unobtrusive service. Recommended; will return.

We were greeted with a welcome and they remembered from my reservation that this was my wedding anniversary. We choose an indoor seat by the window. The waves looked nice as we could see them roll in. The food was very good. We had the Shrimp Dumplings which was good--sort of like a Chinese potsticker, but soft. I had the Lobster and Shrimp Chowder, excellent. My wife had the Mixed Organic Greens, very good. We shared both. For our main course I had the Seafood Pasta lobster, shrimp, scallop & mahi with smoked tomato sauce, Thai basil & parmesan. I liked it very much. My wife had the Pacific Paella grilled lobster tail, mahi, clams, scallops, shrimp & saffron Arborio rice, very good. The quantity of those dishes was more than what we expected--we could have just ordered one or the other and shared.

We made reservations at Rats for Christmas Eve over a month ago with the understanding that it would be their dinner menu as it was advertised on their website as “Menu for the night includes our full menu”. We were surprised that the menu was actually their lunch menu so we ended up trying to order different things to make it our “dinner.” The food was good, nothing special, but it would have been nice to know beforehand. If I knew it was only going to be the lunch menu, we would have dined somewhere else to celebrate Christmas Eve.

Our server, Brook, is one of the best I’ve ever seen. She was friendly, efficient and attentive. The table beside us were a bit much but she rose above their poor behavior and cheerfully accommodated them. The food was excellent. Good beer & cocktails. Our wait staff was great. Savana was excellent! Good recommendations, friendly and attentive! We have a family member who eats vegetarian and he loved the stuffed portobello. Our meals were delicious. Outdoor ambience was perfect. Could not have been better. Shared ice cream dessert of coconut and espresso chocolate was wonderful! Thank you for such a lovely holiday dining experience!
