Everything was A1 from the time we arrived until we left. Adam was FANTASTIC!!! His sense of humor, his professionalism, his friendly demeanor provided the best service I’ve received out of all the times I’ve dined. What I did find that was disappointing, is how casual the dress code is. There was a time we would dress up to come dine. However I was noticing guests wearing jogging suits and gym shoes. It just changes the entire ambience.

When we arrived we were told they could not honor the reservation. It was too busy and open table did not communicate well. Blake was actually a little rude. It’s the holiday and I try to be accepting, but not to paying customers. She never even said she was sorry. I have made reservations before never had an issue. Luckily 2 seats at the bar opened and we dined. Capital Grille at the bar is always good. Bartender is amazing Jason!

Took my 88-year-old father and mom to dinner on Christmas eve. I was pleasantly surprised we could get a reservation the day before. The waitress was very patient and bent over backwards to make my picky mother happy. The food was excellent.

The food and customer service at Mitchell’s Fish market was excellent. You are checked on in a timely manner, and the manager came and spoke to us during Christmas and thanked us for coming. The restaurant is very beautiful and there is even a section where you can look at the fresh fish. We were SHOCKED to not be able to get lobster bisque! However, everything was wonderful, our server was DELIGHTFUL!!! The only friction came when we first entered from the male host. It was very slippery when we came in and we mentioned it to the hosts. The woman host was LOVELY and amazing as always, but the man - who we were not familiar with - was obviously annoyed and extremely short and dismissive. He said: “We salt. The building salts. It’s raining. It washes it away” and then made an “I’m done” motion with his hands. His tone was shockingly harsh. We shook it off and enjoyed our evening. He came by later to perfunctorily check on our experience and he wasn’t angry this time, but clearly not interested in our response. I’ve NEVER had an even slightly negative experience with people who worked there so, it was notable.

Another holiday dinner in the books. We spend Christmas at Morton’s annually and Matthew always goes above and beyond to ensure or visit is pleasant. EJ was our server / bartender and he is amazing 9 years experience in fine dining and although he is primarily a bartender at this stage of his career he is just as attentive as the best of the best servers. I actually work at a restaurant on big beaver and I compare and contrast. Morton’s checks all boxes, their steaks cannot be beat we had the tomahawk with au povire sauce along with garlic butter it was amazing (Morton’s a Has the best steaks on big beaver PERIOD)!! We also had truffle fries, salmon salad and my eldest had the filet mignon sliders phenomenal. I will be back soon on a regular day but the service is always good even on Christmas Day thanks again and i will be back soon thanks again

Christmas day dining at Tria. First time dining experience there for us. First off, the food was excellent! I had the apple muffin encrusted whitefish which was recommended by our server, Paul, and it was delicious! My wife had the filet mignon, and she said it was tender, tasty and cooked to perfection. The other two in our party also enjoyed their food. One had the whitefish and the other had the pork chop. Both said they were excellent. Our server, Paul, on the other hand seemed to be a little resentful to be working on Christmas. He was, at times, curt with us, which made our experience uncomfortable. As we were finishing up around 8:30pm, the staff started setting up all the tables in the restaurant for breakfast the following morning. It reminded me of a mess hall with the clanging of coffee cups and flatware being placed on the granite top tables. I understand that the staff wanted to go home but it really was somewhat uncouth for a $75-$100 a plate restaurant. We will probably not return. I'm not complaining about the price as we dine in that price range fairly often, but just for reference for two, our bill with tip was $216.00 and there were only two alcohol beverages on it, in case you might be thinking that the bill included a bunch of drinks.
