About the restaurant
Terroni Adelaide, formerly the York County Courthouse, is a multi-level heritage structure built in 1852. Just inside the doors is the Enoteca with its towering columns, a great spot for cocktails. Beyond is the main dining room, with a sunlit atrium, fireplaces on each end and private rooms all serviced by an open kitchen where our chefs prepare traditional Italian fare. In summer, the secret garden patio opens for al fresco dining in the heart of the city.

Head down to the Cantina Wine Cellar where you will see the original courthouse cells now used to store our Italian wine. The second floor houses the grand Sala da Pranzo and Bar delle Carceri, named after the cells below. Il Covo degli Artisti, our third-floor space is a cosy lounge once home to The Arts and Letters Club where Canadian landscape painters “The Group of Seven” ate and drank in 1909.

Excellent service and delicious food. Our server Scotlynn( hopefully correct spelling) was very friendly and knew her stuff. Her wine suggestions were spot on. Coffee was outstanding. Very busy lunch spot and got noisy but I find most restaurants very noisy. Not economical but what is these days. Overall a wonderful lunch for the 4 of us.

We happened to dine at Cibo’s King West in Toronto on a Tuesday evening, with 1/2 pizza promo! Great location, ambience, food, and OUTSTANDING service! For the 3 of us bill was $40 !!! Despite the small bill, we were well looked after even after we paid! My elderly mother, who doesn’t drink and can’t stand drinking cold water, was offered a welcoming cup of hot water, right when we came in!!! How did the waitress/ manager know that this is going to make her happy? This is what I call going ABOVE and BEYOND. To be fair, we all had pizzas, so any other day we would have paid double, still very reasonable. We will definitely be back, especially at King West location. I hope we get the same serving staff!

Went for my partner's birthday with our two kids. The restaurant is beautiful and we were greeted immediately. Our waiter was very attentive the entire night and explained and recommended items on the menu. My partner who is more experienced with steak expressed how great his meal was. I also enjoyed mine. We will certainly return

Service was amazing! From the second we walked into the door, the hostesses we very welcoming and friendly to our great server. I always look forward to the Naked mozzarella but this time there was hardly any tomatoe relish. The Margherita pizza I ordered had sun dried tomatoes and didn’t taste very good. But the kids loved their gf pizza and halal chicken fingers. Great service!

We had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday at The Bauer. The service was fantastic- the servers were on top of everything. The service was excellent from the front door to the table. There is something on the menu for everyone including my daughter who requires both vegan and gluten free options. She was even able to enjoy dessert which rarely is available vegan gluten free. The food was very good and of course I always like to enjoy the Charcoal Red when I am there.

Had a fantastic evening. Nothing was rushed and food was outstanding!! Highly recommend both the seafood risotto and the short rib. Will definitely be back. Glad to find another ‘go to’ for my pre-theatre dinners.

Ended up being a slow night at that location. We’ve been there many times but felt as if we had the place to ourselves. That’s didn’t hinder the exceptional service or the mouth watering prime rib. Always a please.

When we arrived we were seated right away. However I had asked for off to the side and intimate but we were seated incorrectly. Service was a good. All the servers were excellent. Attentive and right there all the time. Caesar salad was excellent. The waiter even added extra bacon. The gnocchi was excellent. I was amazed by the quality of the food. I would return for another night of great food!

This location is consistently good. Food was great, service was quick and friendly without being overbearing. The only downside was a super loud table next to us basically yelling but that's not the restaurant's fault.

Went to Moxies for my Birthday dinner. Service was excellent and the waitress was delightful. Can’t say enough about the food. I were treated to a dessert for my birthday. Always enjoyed dinner at a Moxies.

What a wonderful meal and experience! Both our appetizers were delicious and beautifully presented. The Pickled Heirloom Beets & Endive Salad was bursting with flavour. My husband raved about his scallops. Our salmon and angus beef entrees were flavourful and artfully presented. We enjoyed the Ontario Cheese Plate and the Basque Cheesecake. Each of our courses was paired with the perfect selection of Niagara College wine (including icewine). Our server Anjali went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. She genuinely cared about making our experience memorable. She even brought us complimentary sparkling wine to celebrate my birthday. Benchmark is the perfect restaurant if you want to enjoy excellent food in a welcoming and attentive environment.

We always have dinner at Nero’s when in Windsor as the food is great. Never ever had a bad meal there. They are consistently good. And our server David is always fantastic - we always ask to be seated at his table. Great place for dinner.

Lovely evening. Third time here and was not disappointed. Grouper carpaccio was outstanding. Enjoyed the seared tuna, cooked perfectly, with interesting flavours of olives and capers. Ambiance was great and food was delicious. Service was a little slow, noticed it was only one server serving our entire section on a busy weekend. Portion size was ok. Overall had a great time!

We were seated promptly (we had a reservation made earlier in the day), the host, Mike, was friendly and efficient. Within minutes we had drinks ordered and delivered to the table. The complimentary bread (tender, chewy and crusty) and sun dried tomato dipping sauce were very tasty. We bought a bottle of the sauce to take home. We had the Arancini which was light and fluffy inside, with a thin and crispy breadcrumb outside. Served with a side of bolognese sauce that was a nice consistency that complimented the subtle texture of the Arancini. The veal (and special requested chicken) Marsala were tender and generously portioned. The Marsala and mushroom sauce was robustly flavoured and not overly creamy, allowing the wine flavour to be front and center. The cheddar mashed potato accompanying was simple, smooth and full of texture, butter and cream kept to a minimum to let the cheese and potato flavours shine. Veggies were the same, simple and light, not bathed in butter, just a little olive oil. The monthly special cheese cake (Sticky Toffee pudding) was sold out, but they had some toffee sauce left and they put it over the regular cheesecake and it was delightful. Very similar to a traditional French Canadian recipe, 'Sucre-a-crême'. Stacy, our waitress, was perfect, attentive without being intrusive. Great patter and very friendly. She spend a little time chatting (entertaining us) at the end of the meal to top off her great service. She seemed to do this with every table. The extra effort she put into offering the custom cheesecake was very appreciated. A+

The food at Patria was excellent; had the octopus and Paella Patria with seafood. The Basque cheesecake was a delicious end to an amazing evening. Nathan was our top notch server who recommended an excellent Spanish red wine. We would definitely come again to Patria.
