A lovely neighbourhood restaurant. Very reliable and friendly. Gorgeous decor and lovely patient friendly service. Food was delicious. Hot camenbert is a firm favourite. My only gripe is that it is very expensive.

A trip on Valentines 2025 night and wow Amazing delicious cuisine both the mixed grill and thali and special thanks to the staff members who were always willing to assist and guide you through the choices explaining the different styles and flavour’s and not too hot or too mild :) Thank you for your hospitality and Truly worth a visit a must go place to eat definitely !! Our 5th visit to the Mitre in a couple of years although this time just the two of us. Fantastic food and friendly & helpful staff. It was busy & as the weather was nice the outside was busy too which meant there was an occasional smell of cigarette smoke which drifted inside. That said, we will be be back next time we staying in Kensington.

The Lamb shank Hyderabad is one of the best lamb dishes I have eaten anywhere in the world! Our waiter AKBAR not only provided an excellent service, but was also highly entertaining.

A great evening for my partners birthday! Fantastic food, great service and beautiful surroundings. Staff were on hand whenever you wanted anything, no waiting to order drinks. They were very polite and happy. The food was amazing suiting all 7 of us and even accommodating gluten free happily. All in all a 5 star experience would recommend and will definitely be returning.

Had a really nice time, me and my partner came for dinner for my birthday. Service was great, all staff members we interacted with were professional, kind and welcoming. Food was good! Steak cooked well (medium), chips and lemon salad was great. But we wasn’t a fan of the heritage salad. Lychee martini was fabulous. Only point I would like to say is that we booked for 8pm and there was young children running around. I understand it’s a part of a hotel & I also have young children that I left at home. But the staff should maybe sit large groups/children in an area away from intimate diners.
