   L'Opossum never disappoints. We scored reservations at the bar and felt just as full of an experience as if we were at a table. It was my husband's birthday and they brought out a candle at dessert which was an additional special touch. Austin was our bartender and had no misses with his suggestions! We have been talking about our meals and drinks non stop since we dined. The usual suspect dishes were as expected and the "specials" indeed lived up to their name. This will always been our go-to special occasion spot. Inviting, comfortable, and unique, while providing top of the line cuisine.

   As always, a tremendous dining experience. From walking in on a frigid night the warmth of the staff and quality of service and food makes it a “must experience” not only in Richmond but certainly the region. Thank you!

   Dining at L'Opossom was a delight from the hostess hanging up my coat, the friendly, efficient waitstaff, the eclectic decor, low lighting and, of course, expertly prepared, beautifully presented cuisine. Will recommend to our friends.

   It was my girlfriend’s first time and she loved it. The food was flavorful and service was attentive w/out being intrusive. I got the pork cheek stuffed quail and I’ll be thinking about how great it was for a while!

   Party of 3 for dinner. The halibut special was rated outstanding by two diners. The crab cakes were almost completely crab meat, but they appeared to be either seared or grilled and were slightly burned on top and bottom. The desserts were outstanding, and the service was very good. Other than the hiccup on the crab cakes and slight confusion on the wine selection, the evening was excellent, and I would highly recommend.

    As always amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, service was fantastic and fun. Wonderful evening out. Sooooo looking forward to dining with L’Opposum soon
