   The service was excellent. Food was great as usual . Husband ordered fried chicken and leg was a tiny one. Reported to waitress and she had the manager come over and quickly rectified the situation with a new leg. She agreed it was tiny. Romantic atmosphere for Valentines Day dinner.

   I feel bad to write this review but I have ti be honest about my experience. I've gone to Lucky 32 a few times over the last year and each visit has has been exceptional...until last night. I ordered the crab cakes with mashed potatoes and green beans. The crab cakes were the worse I've ever had. They were fried really hard, crunchy and oily. Our server brought me a sauce to use for them and it was too sweet. I also had the white chocolate banana bread pudding. For the record, I LOVE bread pudding so I was excited to see it on the menu. However, this was so disappointing. It was very dry and hard, we could barely dig our spoon into it. Even the bread for our table was hard. I don't know what was going on last night but it didn't align with my previous experiences. I'm not sure if the chef has changed or if the standard dropped because it was a busy holiday, but hopefully it gets better because this restaurant is usually very good.

   Lucky 32 is our biggest Go To restaurant where we know we will always have a great meal. The vegetables are always cooked unique and taste really good. Newer waiter last night but he did a great job of checking on us and finding out answers to our questions. It was a wonderful Valentine's Dinner!

   My favorite dish (meatloaf) the gravy/ glaze was changed to a peppercorn gravy sauce which does not goes well with bacon wrapped meatloaf - consider the bacon! I don’t enjoy the New gravy sauce at all!! That sauce upset my dinner. My food came out too early and was lukewarm when it was brought back out. Not a very memorable 27th anniversary for me and my husband. But hopefully management and chef will consider whipping up some of that delicious “short rib” sauce and put it back on the meatloaf!! I’ll be back in March 2025 to see what happens .
