My partner and I went to the restaurant for a anniversary meal, we had read the reviews that the service was fairly rushed but we decided to go ahead and book in advance to hopefully prevent this. However when we arrived, the restaurant no awareness of our booking and rushed in with the walk ins. When booking I asked if it was possible to give us a fairly quiet table, we instead sat in the main floor which was still a lovely experience. Although when going to the bathroom realised that the floor below was so much quieter and would’ve much rather been sat away from the touristy up stairs. Despite this, we had a a very lovely meal and enjoyed our selfs but were extremely rushed so only had one drink each before they offered us the bill.

Food fairly tasteless. Very much get you in and out as quick as they can. Not terrible just not good.

Arrived on time (1700 on a Saturday in January) and was shown to a table right next to the pass - so it was noisy and had waiters squeezing behind the table every couple of minutes. We had hardly sat down when the waitress wanted us to order. Drinks order was placed - when delivered 5 minutes later, 2 of the 3 drinks were wrong, so they were sent back and redelivered 5 minutes later. One of the drinks was still wrong (lime and soda, so not difficult). We weren’t having starters, but apparently we couldn’t have a bread basket either - and the waitress had no idea what grisini were, which was a bit strange for an Italian restaurant! Our main course food arrived only seconds after our drinks had been delivered. The food was excellent as usual. So on this visit, the food was great, the service was not - and we felt that we were being rushed so that they could turn the table. In total, we were in the restaurant for 40 minutes- which was too rushed for me (and if they’d had a more normal service speed we would have purchased more drinks!)

The restaurant was bright welcoming and warm, I booked but turned up early but the table was ready and we were ushered to our seats. The food came up on time,hot and tasty but the attitudes of both waitresses was something to be desired. They were very abrupt, rude to a table next to me and generally overworked and taking it out on the customers. I hope that they get this feed back and act on it as it is a nice place to go, just less of the faulty towers!

Very nice Italian restaurant with the nicest staff and greatest food on a easily accessible and strategically located location. We were there on New Year's Day and I made a reservation an hour before arrival. When I made my reservation I mentioned my husband's birthday and without further notice they came with fireworks at dessert and the whole restaurant sang Happy Birthday. Thank you for this nice experience! Love from the Netherlands. We will definately come back to L'ulivo Villiers.

At this time of year when there are hoards of people Christmas shopping or having their Christmas parties its slightly unfair to write a review as I'm sure it would differ at other times of the year. Restaurants are fully booked (which is a good thing) but the tables were so close together it was difficult to move around. The food was average and lacked flavour but as I said it's a busy time of year but would probably go again in a quieter period as the venue is very handy for Charing Cross mainline and Embankment tube.
