James Beard Award-winner Christina Tosi, a chef with a serious sweet tooth, is the founder and owner of one of New York’s most beloved bakeries. She moved to the food-frenzied city to cook in restaurants and—after working with chef David Chang at Momofuku—opened her quirky, American-style bakery, Milk Bar. Her creative innovations, like the cereal milk panna cotta, became wildly popular and left a lasting mark on the city’s dessert scene. Curious where she likes to eat when she is off the clock? So were we. Check out this list of her favorite food spots in New York.

About the restaurant
I DARE you to not have the best night of your life here - the onion volcano is always a show stopper. Bonus points if you can make it all the way through dinner pretending it’s someone in your party’s birthday.

Overall it was a good experience with Benihana. There was an issue with the table getting hot so after a few minutes we were moved. Great dining experience overall. Someone at our table got chicken and couldn’t eat it because it was so dry. Know it needs to be done but nobody wants dry chicken. The only downside is after they brought over a lovely birthday dessert. It seemed like it took a long time to get the check and pay.t party wasn’t in a rush but the other people at our table where. Not a big deal just give yourself 2 hours.
