   I had a reservation for Saturday March 8 at 12:15 pm for myself and my granddaughter. We planned at nice lunch at Marathon on Samson Street before attending the ballet at the Academy of Music. On Friday March 7 I received a text message asking me to confirm my reservation which I did. When we arrived at the restaurant, we found a small sign on the door saying it was closed. I found out from the pizza place across the street that a major problem had occurred earlier that week. Why was I sent a text on Friday asking me to confirm my reservation for Saturday when you knew that you would not be open on Saturday??????????? YOU had my phone number and could have let me know. There is no excuse for this behavior from a well run business. I have and will be sharing your disrespect for customers with many people. I called your business today and just got excuses and no apology or offer of compensation. Virginia Wilkinson 570-441-5958

   I made a reservation for five on open table. Got an email confirmation. When I arrived with my guests, the restaurant was closed. With absolutely no notice. So now I had to find a table for 5 on a busy Friday night in Center City. This is no way to run a business. They had my contact information and could have let me know. I am done with this place. Never again.

   We had a reservation at marathon through open table, which we confirmed several times on the app, only to arrive on time and see that the restaurant was closed and dark. Why would we be allowed to make a reservation on a day the restaurant was closed? Why would it be closed on a Friday at 6pm? Why would no one from the restaurant notify us? It was so frustrating to show up for our reservation to find the restaurant closed.

   The restaurant was closed and I did not receive a text to advise me before I got to the restaurant If possible, discussing an option with restaurants to notify those who reserved a table when a problem with a reservation occurs. It might benefit patrons and your servicein the future.

   I went for my birthday & it was beautiful the food was good the drinks was good it was a party dinner in there and they weren’t even that loud the staff was nice 10/10 I recommend

   We visited after the theater. Lots of variety to choose from. I had brisket dinner, others had Mac and cheese, everyone was satisfied. The matzoh ball soup was delish as was the chicken soup and chilli appetizers.

   Food is meh, especially considering the great restaurants in the area. Service was excellent, kind, and fast.

   Food was very good and the service was excellent. However, it was much too noisy for us. We had difficulty hearing each other across the table.
