Dine on creatively prepared American cuisine and more at Marston's. It has a casual, inviting setting that's ideal for grabbing a bite to eat with friends or family. Owner and chef Jim McCardy prepares delicious dishes made from seasonal locally-sourced ingredients. Marston's serves breakfast with such fare as pancakes, eggs Benedict and French toast. Guests can start their dinner course with a wild mushroom and pancetta salad, asparagus tempura or crab cakes with chipotle tartar. An entrée of smoked chicken macaroni and cheese, linguini or butternut squash ravioli will satisfy the palate. Marston's was awarded Best Breakfast in California 2010 by Food Network Magazine. It features an outdoor patio and gourmet picnic baskets for dining in the park. This restaurant offers catering services for private events, as well as cooking classes.

Great food, nice ambience, and good service. We had a really nice dinner. My husband had the lemon chicken, and I had the stuffed filet mignon. Wonderful!

Good was decent. I got the pulled pork Benedict. Poached eggs was overcooked and pork was dry and bland. Ambience for brunch was really noisy. It was difficult to have a conversation without yelling.

My fish was dry overcooked. Service was slow. The server did not come around often enough.

This place has been very inconsistent. I went several weeks ago and had a wonderful meal with great service. This time, I ordered the same meal and it was completely different and not as good. The service was terrible.

Place was busy on a Friday night. We were traveling through and used open table to find a place. food good, service OK but would have liked the waiter to check in from time to time instead of me having to flag him down each time. Tables seemed small and the noise level was high.

In an area where there are too many franchises and a "white-tablecloth" restaurant a rarity this was a great find.Our waiter was excellent and of good humor. Martinis were perfect and generous.

I do not live in the area but had a relative I don't get to see very often meet me at Marstons for brunch. It was a perfect choice as we all enjoyed the food and service. We will be retuning.
