   A real locals, secret culinary spot, great social vibe, attentive service and consistent quality food. I love the soups, some interesting appetizers the New York strip steak and they do fish very nice as well.

   A neighborhood gem. The service was terrific and the food well prepared. We had a mock tail, which was delicious and a yummy dessert.

   Always great. Thrilled to have such a good restaurant in the neighborhood. Pizzas are outstanding at a time when there is a lot of good pizza in Oakland. Rigatoni, chicken alarrabiatta (get it with polenta), steak, are all favorites, but it’s a consistent menu. Go.

   Great neighborhood Italian restaurant with terrific pizza's. They stick to a limited menu of things that they do well but can satisfy vegan and pescatarians as well as meat eaters. Reasonable prices.

   Had very friendly and efficient service from all staff. Food was delicious and really reasonable prices. The happy hour menu is small but affordable. Best deal is their wine happy hour wine bottle prices at 32 bucks. Pretty nice to see those prices in the bay area these days.

   Great food and great ambiance. However, there was a big TV on with sports and it made the meal feel less intimate. Without it, my party would have enjoyed the dining experience much more.

   Never had a pizza or a salad I didn't like and the Chicken All'Arrabiata is EXCELLENT!

   Valentines day dinner with our group was not a hit. Ordered hot water at beginning of service to only recieve it after we got our food. Although our waitress was lovely she totally forgot and we had to wave her down to remind her. Ran our of the item we came for which was fried calamari. (Like the sole rain we booked this place was for the wine and calamari) Ordered drinks as a group, but one person's drink was forgot about until we asked for it close to being done with dinner. (45 min later) Meatballs were horrible. Pizza was nice and both halibuts was cooked to perfection. Waitress didn't really check on us and the whole table felt like it's just time to go. I paid the bill and we left.

   As usual Marzano's is a comfy, neighbor restaurant to go. We had an excellent time, the food came out quickly and because it was so good we ate much faster than planned. We actually didn't feel rushed, so if you are looking for a great neighborhood restaurant this is the one to visit.

    Delicious food, amazing service and great ambiance. We started w a beautiful octopus dish, and a salad. SO yummy! My salmon dinner was moist with delicious seasonal veggies. My husband had an amazing steak with delicious French fries. And the pizza is ALWAYS is a hit with our family.
