We enjoyed another wonderful meal at Matteo's. Our group ordered : Bolognese, Ravioli, Braised Short Rib, Bruschetta, Caesar salad, Beet salad, Prosciutto Flatbread, and Meatballs. Everything was delicious. Thanks to Michael and Pedro for their outstanding customer service. The restaurant was extremely busy but Michael and Pedro were very efficient. Our beverages came quickly, water was refilled and bread replenished without ever having to ask. Super!

Great food, great waiters, great atmosphere, great experience. What is unique about Matteo's is that so many staff have been there for a long time. Very unusual in the restaurant business. Love it!

Overall good experience. A bit of a wait to seated; not sure why since there were tables sitting vacant. The chilled octopus salad starter and the Isola main course were spot on. Cocktails were ok, some of the ingredients got lost in translation. The weakest item by far were the cannolis: the shells were fresh and the lemon curd dipping sauce was good, but the filling was pretty bad. Nothing to do with toasted coconut cream, it tasted kinda sour like cheap supermarket frosting.

From the beginning, everything was perfect. We tried to move our reservation up earlier in the evening and Michelle did a fantastic job on taking care of that for us. Our waiter Michael was over the top. Not only was very good at his job, but his personality was one that everyone wants in a waiter. This is one employee you do not want to lose. The food was spectacular and all these things together made for a perfect evening. We will definitely be back. I was particularly impressed with the flow in the restaurant. The waiters did their job, the bus boys did their job and you had dedicated servers to bring the food out. That ensures hot food arriving when it’s supposed to and not delayed by a waiter, who’s taking an order somewhere else and having the food sit under a heat lamp.

As always, great service from Michael! The Caesar salad was lovely as was the mahi mahi special--- the sauce that was served with it was delish -- presentation was the nicest I've seen.. risotto it was served on , was yummy. We have dined here several times during our winter stay.. will be going back soon!
