A Diner's Choice Award winner for the last 12 years! Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique $28.95 prix fixe dinning experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak; and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and bottomless Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers. WALK INS and CALL AHEAD seating are always welcomed.

Great service, excellent food, intimate but not pretentious atmosphere, quality time with my wife together here for our anniversary, and it can’t get much better than that. Thanks Medium Rare for making our time special.

Our dinner at Medium Rare in Cleveland Park was incredible due to good food at a reasonable price, terrific service and a casual but very nice atmosphere. I took my out of town relatives and they enjoyed the meal at Medium Rare and the sights in the surrounding neighborhood. Finally, the waiters were impeccable in their service delivery!

Usually a great place. Were accommodating to change reservation but it took a long time with lots of calls to different people and having to show up in person. The steak wasn’t prepared to the requested wellness and service was sporadic (this was understandable as it was Valentine’s Day).

This location is the best - great staff and and great service. I live in VA closer to the Arlington location, but come to Cleveland park for the reasons above. Will keep coming back 😊

Server was trying to rush us the entire meal. The steak eggs benedict was foul… like cat food level Salisbury steak type of bad. I didn’t enjoy my meal whatsoever. Will not be returning for brunch.
