   We were promptly seated upon entry, however, we did make reservations. The service was good for the most part, but had to ask twice for my granddaughter’s drink. The food arrived warm and promptly.

   Was meeting a friend had not seen in a long time and the music was so loud we had to talk with raised voices. I asked them to turn down but it was only done slightly. Music should only be low in the background. Crab enchiladas was too fishy tasting to me. Other menu items where good along with the server.

   One of my go to places for lunch with friends. A great place with the best queso around! Can not find a better Margarita. Best tequila selection in the metroplex. Food is delicious and wait staff knowledgeable and attentive.

   Made an open table reservation. Entire party arrived on-time. Waited 13 minutes before past our reservation time to be seated. Got to our table and waited another 12 minutes before any server came to the table. 5 more minutes until water was brought, 5 more minutes until chips and salsa arrived. So…we are 35 minutes past our reservation time, we just have gotten water and chips and still do not have drinks or our order taken. Really not our servers fault, as she had a party of 20 and our party of 8 seated around the same time. Good management would have stepped in. Once things got rolling everything was fine. Food was tremendous. Just wasted way too much of our time to get started. One last thing…LOUD. We could barely hear each other talk…and they were still pumping music into the room. You couldn’t actually hear what the songs even were, but it added to the noise.

   Don’t often like leaving negative reviews but the salsa was a 2/10, guac was alright not as flavorful as guac usually is and we ordered it spicy, enchiladas didn’t have cheese in them as described and was covered in that watery bland salsa; service was alright he was a nice guy but the whole experience felt out of place I was very underwhelmed unfortunately.

    We have visited this restaurant before and as far as the food and the waitstaff everything has been top notch. The issue is with the hostess, who was quite possibly the rudest young woman I have ever met. I am amazed this person is allowed to hold a job where her number 1 goal SHOULD be to welcome guests into the restaurant and seat them according to their wishes if possible. My wife and arrived for an anniversary celebration (which I indicated on the reservations) and were treated not unlike cattle in a stockyard and led to a tiny table in the middle of the restaurant where it was plain to me we would be in the middle of a busy corridor of foot traffic all evening. I asked if we could have a booth instead of the bottle-cap sized table we were given only to be snapped at by the hostess that none were available and we would just have to take what she offered. Unbelievable. Fortunately, I asked the waitress if we could change seats and she was able to get with a manager and move us to a booth that was opening up. It was clear to us that since we weren’t part of the young, hip “Legacy bar-hopping crowd” that our chances of being treated like welcome guests were slim. I suggest this establishment starts treating people with more respect or this will certainly not be the last review of this sort.
