Established in 1981, Michael’s Back Door Restaurant has been providing Mississauga and the GTA with award winning Italian cuisine and professional courteous service in a warm, comfortable atmosphere for over 35 years.

Principal owners Michael Morra and Michael Morra Jr., along with partner Anthony Coffa, invite you to experience creative Italian, continental fare, offering the freshest ingredients and a variety of rare wines.

Executive Chef, Mark D'Souza, joined Michael's Back Door in 2015. Since becoming the head of the kitchen, Mark and his team have focused on adding a modern twist to our traditional rustic and regional Italian dishes.

Whether you are looking for a quick, casual family dinner, a romantic night out or an opportunity to catch up with friends, Michael’s Back Door has the perfect table for you.

Excellent Service, Good food and wine selection. Appetizers and Desert were terrific. Main course was tasty.

Food was enjoyable (not spectacular but still good). Service was friendly. Ambience was nice. It just didn’t line up with the cost.

Very good professional services. Reasonable prices for excellent food. I had angel hair with lobster sauce which is its signature dish. My husband had the 10oz New York striplloin. So tasty 👍🏻 Definitely will go again.

Overall fantastic experience. From the service being absolutely great with timing and kindness, our server was respectful and helpful. The food was amazing and delicious. Highly recommend anyone who loves Italian food and looking for a great date night with their significant other.

Had not been to Michael’s Back Door for many years but was just as excellent as we remembered! Nice quiet dinner with another couple and we were met by the owner upon arrival and looked after by Kevin who took great care of us. Compliments to the wonderful kitchen team…all of our dinners were very good. Won’t be as long before we go back!! Highly recommend.

The staff were exceptional, they took the time to explain in detail the specials, and my party asked for certain changes to a few dishes due to allergies, again the staff accommodate. The food is truly fantastic and not over priced. Excellent restaurant, and we wil be going back very soon

The specialty drinks were very tasty, the broccoli soup, and our main courses were excellent. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, just how we like it. We try to visit at least a couple of times a year. It's always a treat to come here.
