Established in 1981 by Michael Morra Sr., Michael’s Back Door Restaurant has been providing Mississauga and the GTA with award winning Italian cuisine and professional courteous service in a warm, comfortable atmosphere for 42 years.

Principal owner Michael Morra Jr., along with partners Anthony Coffa and Chef Mark D’Souza invite you to experience creative Italian, continental fare, offering the freshest ingredients and a variety of rare wines.

Head Chef, Mark D'Souza, joined Michael's Back Door in 2015. Since becoming the head of the kitchen, Mark and his team have focused on adding a modern twist to our traditional rustic and regional Italian dishes.

Great place - the oldest restaurant in Mississauga - 42 years. Food was great, as well as the presentation. The only regret - we overate 🤣🤣🤣. Salad, appetizers and.... then... the main dish came, which was a pretty big size. Delicious! European bass, crispy skin, yum yum yum Rack of lam, yum So, choose wisely. For us no appetizers next time, only main course.

I really enjoy dinning at Michael’s back door 👍 The food is unbelievable and the service out of this word with my favorite server Anderson . I had the plaisir to be served twice by Anderson.. the best of the best 🤗 I will go back again & again 👍👍

We have been to this restaurant many times. This meal was such a disapointment and we both agreed. The ceaser salad to start was underwelming and the family favourtie, anglehair pasta and lobster had next to no lobster in it this time! We finished the meal discussing where we should try eleswhere next time we get together. The service and ambiance was top notch, everything we expected. The food was below mediocre, and for the money.... Such a shame it has gone so downhill.
