   Only reason for not giving higher scores on service was due to a 10 minute wait when we arrived because there was no hostess. Also significant way early on to get the drink order in. Other than that, the server was attentive and on our. The ambience is very good However, I would not read it. Excellent based on other options in this category. The food exceeded our expectations for all four entrées, steak, fish, chicken, and prime rib.

   Went here before a Christmas show. Not very festive in the restaurant (yet?). Everyone (five of us) loved their meal from salads, apps, bread to steak and chicken and sides). Great service. First time here. Will go back.

   Craig at the door was very friendly and welcoming. Megan was great at her job, friendly, courteous and easy to talk to about the meal. Chef was very professional, welcoming and cared for our opinion, the service and the steak was outstanding. Our family really enjoyed the experience!!! We will definitely come back and recommend the Chop House.

   Formally trained cook and hospitality manager weighing in here. Food was very good, but did not bowl me over. One particular gripe--$26 for a single crab cake appetizer. This was particularly insulting, but professional curiosity got the best of me. I particularly fancy crab cakes, and their offering was mediocre at best. Chop House would be well-advised not to treat individual diners like second class citizens. I was the first person to arrive, and was assigned a seat in the "back room" . Consider allowing individual diners to enjoy the main dining room, especially since you can turn and burn a single diner quickly. I am also a formally trained butler--service was exquisite. A minor (and old-fashioned point)--Staff really should cover up the tats. No matter HOW great the service, visible tats/ mouth/nose piercings DO take away from the overall experience. It may be unfair, especially when service is outstanding. As a side note--I don't ding servers' tips because of if--and I'm a 30% tipper. I don't write this to rag on The Chop House. I do, however, believe they are missing a few opportunities to achieve true greatness.

   As always, a great experience! The restaurant was I little understaffed this evening, so the server was not as attentive as in the past due to the workload. But did provide excellent service when needed. The 2 "stand in bartenders (Sara and Christina (?)" were great at doing a job that they aren't normally responsible for. The all-around staff was very efficient and the ambiance great! Too bad in today's world, restaurants of all types feel the "pinch" of not having enough associates.

   Very disappointed in meal. Ordered prime rib (medium rare) on special and received it over cooked and dry. Meat has been seared heavily on both sides which is not consistent with the preparation of prime rib. Returned it and received essentially the same thing. Did not return it again. They did take it off our bill. Lettuce in Salad was old and brown. Shrimp in shrimp cocktail also did appear fresh. Restaurant appears to be struggling so I would avoid. Capital grille close by - I would recommend there instead. Service was good though - I should mention that.

   Business dinner, hosted 8 folks, excellent environment, phenomenal service & delicious cuisine. Conveniently located just off the Hilton Lobby with a great bar for entertaining everyone prior to dinner reservation.
