   Great bar, knowledgeable and creative mixologist behind the bar, friendly and attentive staff in the restaurant, beautiful space, flexible chef with pescatarian and vegi options. Shout out to Diane and our excellent bartender!

   The food was excellent as advertised with the small plates serving as a great way to sample multiple dishes. My wife favors more vegetarian heavy dishes and I favor seafood. We were both well accommodated and we even enjoyed a pork dish outside our usual ranges. The bartender was serious and we had both a great cocktail and an excellent choice of beer on draft. Service was a strength as well. We were early for a reservation on a busy night and had the chance sit in the bar area and then our table earlier than expected. With the style small plates I didn't know if we should have ordered piecemeal to control the pacing. In the end, we ordered a total of 6 items all at once including 5 snack size, small, and medium dishes, and one desert. The waiter turned that into a graciously paced 4-course meal starting with paired smaller dishes followed by a divided main dish and the desert. Nothing came out before we'd finished what we had. We much appreciated that attention.

   Spectacular food, gorgeous space. Friendly and attentive service from Christian. Very interesting menu. Fruit sweetened raw oysters were a pleasant unexpected surprise. Prices a little high but more than worth it. Will be back.

   Lively but also loud. Otherwise great ambiance and attentive friendly service. Oysters and mussels were perfect - radicchio salad was large and flavorful - grilled salmon ordered medium toward medium rare was medium toward medium well - diver scallop reduced roasted tomato sauce was amazing but the 4 scallops in the entree had an odd flavor.

   Very good food, but like Elements (the fine dining restaurant upstairs), Mistral missed a final touch… everything felt tasty but “almost there”, missing refinement

   Salmon dish on the menu was the worst we ever had. Drenched in oil, the fish looked like deep fried vs menu description as pan seared. In spite of the complaint, the server did not extend the courtesy to remove it from the check. Never going back to this restaurant.

   We loved our meal and service! Our only complaint, and the only reason we don’t come more often, is that vegan options are not listed on the menu, we’d feel more welcome if we didn’t have to ask for vegan options! The cold soba noodles and yucca poutine (made vegan) were craveable.

   Food was interesting. Flavors somewhat unexpected, but great tasting. Drinks were great. Waiter was great! Pleasant and attentive ! However our main entrées took a while, which made us rush at the end. We would not mind the wait if we were not greeted by a hostess with “ enjoy , you have until 7. As we have table reserved for someone else at that time”

    Service was not up the usual and to our expectations. The mains (medium) were served at the same time as the small plates. Our plates were removed before we were finished or able to finish boxing the food. Very underwhelming.
