   Very inattentive. Huge deal about reservations had to stop waiter and asl for drinks had to stop him to order had to get his attention to get bill The restaurant came highly recommended but I guess they forgot to tell me about the poor service

   Excellent food, service, live music, etc. Definitely a great option for Mardi Gras weekend. Had the steak and eggs with truffle butter which was fantastic. Also had the pecan pie which was almost as good as their special king cake. Going to try to get in there again later this week.

   I had Sunday jazz brunch the last weekend of Mardi Gras and despite the crowd, the food was excellent, and the service (Jeremy, who was delightful) was sublime.

   This was our first time at Mr. B’s and we will definitely be back. Our waiter Jeremy was wonderful and really elevated the experience. The gumbo Yaya was super smoky and delicious with the house made bread. The shrimp and grits were probably the best I’ve ever eaten.  The grilled redfish was over the top. And don’t forget the bread pudding. Such a wonderful meal, looking forward to coming back again!

   Excellent host stand staff and Manager who was there to greet as well. By the way, my wife became cold while sitting in the restaurant and the manager was kind enough to offer her a chefs coat during our time there. Class act! We come to Mr. B’s regularly when visiting Nawlins and you always have to get the barbecue shrimp with the fresh hot bread in the bag (not the bread they serve with the shrimp). Also, the fried oysters are on spot and the big surprise of this visit was their burger. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. John the bartender/server is always on the spot. The vibe of the place is cool because it’s a mix of tourist and locals And everybody seems to want to chat it up. Excellent drinks as well.
