We had heard this pub served one of the best Sunday Roasts in the area, and let me tell you—they were absolutely right! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place is a local favorite, with a buzzing atmosphere and a short wait for our table. But that wasn’t a problem at all—we were looked after wonderfully. Once seated, our waitress, Lucy, was fantastic! She was efficient, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of. She even noticed that the youngest in our group was getting hungry and arranged for their meal to come out quickly—such thoughtful service! And then, the main event—the roasts! Wow. They arrived piping hot, generously portioned, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was perfection! Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Fantastic food, top-notch service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere—highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing Sunday Roast!

Had an amazing mid week lunch here with their new menu and we absolutely loved it! The best Chinese restaurant by far and you most certainly get what you pay for.

It was our 2nd visit to the Script as we enjoyed the first one on Fathers Day very much. Unfortunately we weren’t as happy this time. The lamb in the roast was like a doorstop and the cauliflower cheese was a bit watery and the roast potatoes were a bit underdone. The club sandwich was extremely bad. Not really sure how you can make a club sandwich bad?? A lot of bread and not much inside. The chicken and bacon were very overdone and inedible. All we were offered was a complimentary coffee!

Food was outstanding!!! Best Greek I’ve had in a long time, chips amazing not greasy. Even the Gin & Lemonade was really good. Food fresh, service good, the guys were friendly even the delivery guy came in dancing!! Def going back was very impressed. Glad I’ve found my new Greek restaurant
