Experience dining approximately 30 feet below ground in historic caverns that were hand built in the 1800's. Accidentally discovered in 2018 during the building of our parent restaurant, Hudson and Essex, we have refurbished the caverns once used to store beer before air conditioning into a one of a kind dining experience. Every Friday and Saturday night we provide an 8 course dinner with wine pairings from our home winery ( Cypress Hill Winery ) using wines made with California grapes. Prepaid reservation only.     We had a wonderful lunch today at Tucci including a glass of wine, delicious flatbreads and a salad. I always feel like I’m on vacation in the beautiful four seasons patio! It is gorgeous even on a frigid winter day! Alli does a fabulous job running the show and always checks in with guests to see how their dining experience is going. She does this with a welcoming smile! I have always had the best experience with the wait staff as well! Can’t wait to go back!

    I had lunch here with a friend and I have nothing but good to report. Our server was spot on with her timing at every step, the butternut squash ravioli I ordered was a winter miracle of happiness to eat, and the restaurant atmosphere was warm and cozy. Great job Valentina’s! I’ll be back and soon.

    Hudson & Essex is a high end restaurant with attentive staff & unique drinks and food. The wait staff helps each other out & you can see the comradery that exists between the servers. It's a terrific atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. In addition to typical filet, chicken dish, etc. there is always something new to try. We had a beef tartare and salmon poke & both were fabulous. In addition to the barrel aged Manhattan, there are always new drinks on the menu to try. Definitely recommend stopping in for a drink, app, or meal!
