Two restaurants were mentioned of particular note with The Tavern being the one we chose. Great choices and options on the menu, excellent bar selection, great ambience of old courthouse building, service was friendly and attentive and the food was so delicious!! We had the Goulash and Chicken Schnitzel, along with Gnocchi and Smazak as apps. The Schoolhouse Salad was a great salad. We had the pork chop and trout. Both were excellent. The only negative was the service. I’m pretty sure there was only one server for the entire restaurant and the dining room was about 80% full. There were definitely some assistants, but only one woman was taking orders, etc. we waited 27 minutes before our order was taken. Food was great.
